Most definitely. I mean, which fighter, in history, do you know that can win a fight in third person. Dude doesn't even have to get in the ring with his nearest challengers to beat them. Margarito? Pfft, Floyd exposed him when Mosley knocked him out. Pacquiao? Seriously, guys, does Floyd outclassing him four times through JMM not prove anything to you?

    He most likely is.

But that doesnt mean he would've beaten him.

History is full with fights where the lesser skilled fighter beat the most skilled one.

    Barkley-Hearns Twice.
    Mayorga-Forrest twice

Just to name a couple of examples.

in the last 20 years alone you could probably list 20 or 30 fighters that have better single individual wins than floyd has.

Floyd deserves huge respect for his longevity, and for his consistency.

But how high can you really rank a fighter when he doesn't have any ATG wins?

    :huh

Who are mannys? The obvious ones you can name are MAB and Eric Morales. Where do you honestly place them in your ATG rankings? Or who else JMM, well floyd beat him too. DLH... you got it floyd beat him as well... Mosley, again floyd beat him, Cotto... well you see where this is going.

You only really need 1 or 2.

    Mannys was the MAB *2

Then borderline were his Marquez and Morales ones at the featherweight weights.

Floyd has alot of HOF type wins, like all the ones you mentioned. He's just missing that 1 ATG win that defines his legacy.

I don't have an ATG ranking.

But that win was one of the greastest wins by any boxer of the last 20 years. which is why i judge it an ATG win.

I'm not like you...I don't need the "comfort of the majority", I don't have to look over my shoulder to make sure people have my back before I say what I believe. I don't "think" Floyd is the better fighter, I "know" Floyd is the better fighter, and the overwhelming majority of people who know jack **** about boxing would agree (which really doesn't matter, but I know how important it is to you).

Floyd pulled ahead of Manny recently. They were neck and neck until Manny cherrypicked the wrong guys.

yep, those wins over Ortrees and the Ghost really slingshotted Floyd up in the ATG Rankings.
