yes but whitaker fought his chavez :D

One thing you have to say about Pac. The fact he's even mentioned as someone to beat floyd is crazy.

I remember at 130, when people were getting banned from this site for suggesting he had what it takes to compete at 147.

Then not only does he beat everyone out there, he's thought of as the only guy who could have potentially beaten floyd.

Now i find it laughable that people turn it aroudn with things like - Yeah bot cotto weighed 145. And who's clottey.

Pac deserves being highly ranked for his multiple weights startinf at 106 then actually not only competing, but dominating 147 for a while.

And Floyd for his sheer dominance over everybody he fought! And his longevity in becoming insane right now.

Ali fought for equality of race, the anti war movement in viatnam.

And beat Foreman Frazier and Liston.

I don't agree it will be the same at all!

You realise, he had beaten many good-great-ATG fighters before those 3 years, right?

And Manny never fought his Whitaker ;)

I never gave Manny crap for the Clottey bout. It was after that he started fighting worthless fights, while Floyd made his fights count against ranked opposition.

    Mosley and Margo

I agree, but i remember being excited for both. Yes i'm a big Pac Fan, but Mosley had only lost to boxers and was brilliant against fighter coming straight at him. And there was still an eliment of intrigue about the Margo Bout, due to the size.

The Mosley fight was a shocker which we blame Mosley for, for running.

But i remember the Margo fight being brilliant and i definetly am glad it happened. It had tension all the way through cos of margos size.

Then after that It was Marquez twice (Manny biggest Rival)

And Bradley who was definetly worthy.

So it wasn't as bad as you think.

I'd definetly pick Margo over Ortiz and Ghost if the same versions fought.

Yes I am aware of that but it has never been consistent with his dominance until that 3 year stretch...

Manny clearly tried cherrypicking Marquez. Look at the forums, Marquez was going to die. Twist it however you want but pre-fight perceptions are what matter most when judging a fight and no one was giving Marquez a chance.

He was getting dropped 2 weight classes below and hurt by Katsidis. Manny going on to lose those bouts and then the Bradley farce was too much to bear.

Manny really has nowhere to go but down due to lack of opponents, and Floyd still has a ton of chances to up his resume.

If you don't have Floyd higher now, fine, but you will when it's said and done.

pacquiao = fighter of the decade ("anytime, anywhere")

mayweather = ducker of the decade ("we dont fight to see who is best")

    irrefutable!!!
