Floyd is so much better than his era that he will never get credit for who he beats!!

It's somewhere in between - he definitely gets hated on for every choice of opponent. I for one cannot criticise the choice of Robert Guerrero simply because right now it's slim pickings and Guerrero has proved himself at 147 (to an extent).

His personality has done him no favours, neither has inactivity at what you could say was convenient time periods. I'm disappointed he didn't fight more greats at their peak, some fighters are unlucky getting an elite at the end of their career so don't get credit but the point is Floyd could have fought those guys at their peak if he wanted to

That aside, he is the most technically gifted boxer out there, and he's become more humble since prison which is good to see...I'm still hoping he takes on a Canelo or a Pacquiao (if he's still got something) - a big career fight, then no one could possibly say anything

Unfortunately, you're right. Some people will never be satisfied with his choice of opposition. If he fights anyone from 140 to 160, he'll be critized for it. If he fights Martínez, they'll say Martínez was old and shot. If he fights and beats GGG, they'll say that GGG was a plodder and that Floyd ran. Critics would be upset if Floyd didn't stand and trade with this guy. If he beats Canelo, they'll say that Canelo was too green and they would also criticize his gameplan. He'd easily beat anyone at 140 and 147. If he fights and beats Pacquiao, they'll say that Pacquiao was damaged goods. Nothing he does will ever be good enough for some people. Nothing.
