Errrm very quickly: I got... RJJ (since I don't let washed up Post-Ruiz performances destroy a legacy while still physically stable!), Pacquiao*, Mayweather*, De La Hoya, Hopkins*...then Lewis & Holyfield (just about counts as this GeN!), then Morales & Barrera, then Winky* & Mosley*, then Tito & Calzaghe (though I could easily put these two ahead of Winky & Mosley), then hmm James Toney* & Marquez*, then maybe the Klitschkos, then Vernon Forrest*. *- their careers aren't over, though! Once Marquez grabs a title @ 140 and becomes the first Mexican to have attained 4 belts @ 4 different weight-divisions, he will enter the fray towards the top-half...! If he grabs a title @ 147 as well... he has to over-take Morales & Barrera, as illustrious as their careers were,... and really threatens the likes of De La Hoya & Hopkins.
jones and floyd are clearly the most complete fighters since sweet pea, and it doesn't really matter if people want to analyse them or not compared to other fighters or their resumes because these guys were just off the planet good.... hopkins has to go third for me and pac probably goes fourth.
I would put him over both of them. Better resume, more world titles at more weight divisions, and IMO a better fighter in his prime (Mosley at lw may have been slightly better than Oscar at lww, but he never fought anyone good enough at 135 to actually prove it, so I go with Oscar on all counts).
Stop this bs. If Floyd can make 140, then fight JMM at 140. Both of them have no reason to fight at 147 if Floyd is really small as what you claim. The truth is, Floyd can't make 140 anymore.
not pac is 8-2-2 in championship fights with only 4 title defenses:scaredas: and that is over a ten year period. floyd is 19-0 in championship fights with 12 title defenses:thumbsup you tell me who dominated their era and floyd has never lost, pac has.
All three had their limitations, and none of three are in the top three of their era, but all three were still great fighters IMO.
