Pac is really small for a welterweight, he is essentially a lightweight or jr welterweight at best, I wonder why Floyd appears to be too scared to fight him. Floyd weighed at close to 160 lbs on fight nights of his last two fights while Pac weighed from 147-149 lbs in his last 5 fights. I'm sure Pac will weigh just about that weight when he fight with Margarito or any other fighter north of WW. Pac now walks around that weight (147-150), he can not weigh more than that in a fight and remain competitive!

Yeah, you're right. Pac won't be any different when Floyd beat him but the question is...... Will Floyd find the courage to fight him?

LOL!!! :thumbsup I actually prefer the way they dealt with Joe Pesci's character Nickey and his brother in the movie Casino. Beaten with a bat and buried alive... :smoke

Ricky Hatten Overrated "carefully" matched brawler whos peak wasn't long he was on the slide when he fought urango and collazo (I am british)

JMM well past his razorsharp best at 135

Shane Mosley 39 years old after a long lay off says it all really

    need I go on ?

I give floyd credit for his early and mid career, but after that hard to make a case to say he hasn't cherry picked.

I know one thing and that is had pacman fought jmm on that night we would have been looking at an early ko victory for pacman.

If pacman had fought those 3 in his last 3 fights at their age and stage of career and flyd hadn't you can guarantee child minded floyd fans would be tearing in to that resume.

PAc ducked Guzman, Valero, Campbell, Bradley, Shane...Floyd ducked Cotto, AM, PAc, Kostya, PW...Cotto ducked Floyd, rematch with Margarito, Paul Williams etc... How do you do it. Floyd fans always retaliate by saying Barrera and Morales were ring old along with Dlh when PAc fought them, a already knocked out Hatton, a catch weight Cotto so go figure lol... They also say PAc ducked Campbell and Casamayor at 135 and ducked Shane...so go figure... Every fan of every fighter has a list of negatives for every fighter that they don't like...

Donaire is a PFP fighter. If in his next fight he went up to welter and Floyd beats him, that's something to be proud of. Floyd beats 4 top PFP fighters in a row.

    De la Hoya, Hopkins.

Not to mention May moved up to fight Casfillo, moved up to fight Gatti, moved up to fight, DLH.

Also Mayweathers last fight was at 154, so its understandable that he wouldn't want to go down to 140 directly in his next fight. Besides Hatton was called Ricky Fatton cuz he actually has a big walk around weight. Hatton had to cut less weight then he normally would and it had no real effect on Hatton. It would have made Mayweather weaker that's it.

vs JMM I didn't agree with not honoring the catch, but jmm was used to hype the Pac fight at the time as well as face a p4p #2. Many fighters tried to face May off of retirement hoping to catch him rusty.

    Marvin Hagler
    Bernard Hopkins

Hopkins's win over Tito pretty much killed a fight between Tito and Jones (although it happened much later).

Only problem is Manny before stepping up any way you look at it fought warriors and you could see he had tremendous heart a solid chin and was very dangerous. Even if he lost those fights that were close what is amazing is the next phase in his career. Drained or not it is the way he ripped them all. Mayweather fought JMM with a 4 lb advantage he could not hurt him and Mosley off a long layoff again Floyd could not hurt them. He out boxed them but did not wow anyone by doing so. Manny showed how much in a league of his own he is in. Almost every fight legends did not even have a prayer. Mosley nearly shocked Floyd. That is a big difference right there. If Mayweather was at his best that does not happen.

Yeah the TS really needs to learn how to spell Hatton. I think it's spelled: O-V-E-R-R-A-T-E-D.
