No way, first Chavez ain't got nothing to do with one of the greatest pound for pound fighters of all time Roberto Duran. Duran has twice the defense of Chavez and hits harder , and was much quicker at 135. Floyd faced no one, and I mean no one comparable to the hands of stone,

 

Drug use and a serious eye injury ended Pryor’s rein prematurely. Rumor has it, he would spar for 20 rounds without headgear and do lots of crazy stuff. Some say his drug use may have taken place during fights with the help of his infamous trainer, Panama Lewis. Either way, I loved watching him fight. He turned his life around and became a preacher I believe. You don’t hear much about him as a fighter which is too bad because he was special, albeit for a brief period. His fights with SRR and Duran never took place. Duran tried to lowball him and Ray hurt his eye right before the Pryor fight was scheduled and retired. They say, Pryor weeped when he learned about the ruined payday and shot at history.

 

I don't think Floyd was the greatest at any one weight class, rather he proved greatness overall.

 

Irrelevant. Boxing isn't a video game you're not just going to keep walking through clean counters and straight right hands getting hit with shots you don't see by a guy who can punch at that weight. Not only that other guy is scoring points and wining rounds to boot. BTW I was talking about 130 pounds which is what this thread is about.
