Hatton definitely looks a lot broader in every pic ive seen them both in. I suspect any size difference to be fairly negligible.
theres no real size difference.pbf has never weighed in over 150 in fact his career high was 148 come fight night.pbf is not real welter and he would not even be considered a blown up jr welter either.guys like harrison and writter are bigger then him or just as big. hatton is the shorter man thats it, there will be no disadvantage for hatton, hell it might help him.
i dont understand why the fight was made at 147 i mean i dont think Floyd should find it hard at all to move down to 140 and then both their undisputed championships could be on the line
El Rey's right. The weight drain + the money + the future fights @ 147 means Floyd should stay @ 147. :deal The only size advantage I see for Floyd is his reach, and that's a big advantage. Of course Tyson overcame his size issues many times, until he met B.D. Mayweather/Hatton comes down to speed. If Hatton is anywhere close to Mayweather in terms of speed, it's gonna be a special fight. I'm rooting for Hatton but as of now, leaning toward Mayweather.
This is a good match up I think and a good fight to watch for sure. But if the showing of each fighter gets distasteful in fight night, then it will be a match up who wins between a runner or a cuddler.
Size won't matter a damn anyway. Mayweather is going to give Hatton a tough lesson in the sweet science. Expect Hatton to be clearly outclassed in this one. Hatton's straight-forward, one-dimensional style is tailor made for PBF. Ricky is going to get picked apart and possibly even stopped late. I'd rather see Mayweather matched up with the winner of Cotto-Mosley anyway. Mosley especially would be an intriguing matchup.
