So if Crawford loses to Pacquiao because of the competition he faced, can we call him green?

Yet, he fought at 130 for 3 more years.
And what miracle drug did he take for the bronchitis? No trouble breathing, excessive coughing, runny nose. None of that. Can't comment on his stress level because of his assault charges. Who knows? Mayweather was facing jail time before he went out and spanked Mosely.[/QUOTE

Something tells me that he took Mayweather a tiny bit more serious than Baldomir.

11 years between beating Hopkins and losing to Tarver. Not as long as Floy'd time on the top, but longer than many else's. Longer than Whitaker's.

And Hopkins and Toney were as good as anyone Floyd beat.

Name one non-ATG he had a "life and death struggle" with anywhere near his prime.

How many have there been at HW? Over two decades the only notables he didn't beat were Ingo, Machen and Holmes. He beat as close to everyone over such a long period as anyone has. Floyd was missing Margarito, Williams, Khan, Bradley and Brook just during his time at WW.

I mean, in so far as it's a made-up list, sure, you could include him. Particularly if you are more familiar with post-90's boxers and are thus subject to 'recency bias' (like yours truly). Be a hell of a lot easier to NOT include him, though.

Nah son, just no. Boxing has an illustrious past full of fighters (that everyone before me named) who have more skill than Floyd.

Floyd had incredible natural God Given boxing talents If he'd used them & stayed away from the corruption of Vegas , the NSAC & Oscar he may possibly have made ATG level legitimately. Sadly he didnt & he became a manufactured champion using very dubious tactics & receiving several "Friendly" decision wins he did not deserve. So the answer is a definate NO!!!!!
