He didn't get KO'd so I actually think he got it right. Survive to the final bell and hope the judges can work their... "magic".
Floyd looking on like Joshua is his big brother and he wouldn't let him punch the heavy bag. Joshua should go in there and use his advantages, that's power and strength and try to blast Usyk out of there. Don't try to box the master boxer.....he is gonna pick up some BS advice from Floyd and will try to potshot to win, and he won't win that way against Usyk.
Ever since Ruiz, Joshua has been a pure outboxer. Before that he was getting in on everyone and doing them dirty with uppercuts and hooks on the inside. Playing a game of potshot is probably not in your advantage vs a smaller, faster and busier fighter. I agree with the people that say he needs confidence. It’s either that or testing that did a number on his testosterone (which we all know is a driving/energetic force for one’s personality)
How was it? He rightly told him to stay behind the jab and land the right as usyk came in. So it was Mccracken’s fault he was unable to do so? Joshua must be the only boxer in history who whenever he loses, its eveyone else’s fault but his own... Has the obvious not yet occurred to you that perhaps Femi just isn’t that good?
I think Usyk takes the 2nd fight as well. AJ can't outbox Usyk, outlast, out maneuver and he doesn't have the skill set or adaptability to hang a full 12.
Exactly. I could explain it to him with a long and detailed text, but i already did that million times, so why lose my time, with a guy who is just a fanboy and can't see further from his nose? And i'm a guy who like AJ a lot, and think he is very solid operator and almost a complete boxer.
ROFLMAO So Floyd's gonna make Joshua the first body builder ballet dancer!! Now that really would be something to see
Late in his career he is going to try and be something he is not ? AJ is not a slick defensive fighter nor will he ever be. He is a pressure power puncher. He is going to get beat clearer out if not out right stopped in the rematch.
Joshua predicts a ‘Kronk style’ knockout of Oleksandr Usyk Joshua and Usyk collide tomorrow in a heavyweight title fight. “I know what I’m doing. I know exactly what I’m doing. I know what I’m gonna do. I know...Knockout, Kronk style. When I watch things, I like Emanuel Stewart’s mindset. Obviously you’ve got to do your As and Bs and Cs but is you follow them they’ll lead to you to KO — and that’s what we’re here to do, put on a spectacular show, people want to see knockouts and that’s what we’ve got to deliver for the fans.” -- Anthony Joshua This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
