Floyd is so bad with the jab that he is almost the only one ever to be able to pull and counter it -_-
PBF has a good job when he elects to throw it. It's light years better than Pac's that's for damn sure.:deal His jab to the body is unmatched.
Compared to how difficult Floyd typically is to find, I thought Judah had tremendous success with his left all things considered, when he threw it and committed. That can be seen in this video as well. The evolution of Floyd becoming more elusive to the left was apparent. Even still, a speedy southpaw was able to find the mark on a much better version of Floyd with some regularity.
He doesn't? He may not use it as a primary weapon, but when he uses it and how he uses it is almost always effective. It most certainly is an elite jab, even if Floyd isn't known as an elite jabber because he has so many other dimensions to his impeccable game.
I agree he's also a natural counter-puncher unlike Pac and he had the ability to beat PBF to the punch unlike Pac. Zab Judah stylistically is a harder fight for PBF than Pac is.:deal
Who's debating any of this? The fact remains, however, that a speedy southpaw was able to find the range and timing needed to land big lefts with some consistency and regularity against a defensive master. It doesn't necessarily say anything at all about how Pac will fare, but it's certainly an interesting point that Bogo edited down into a nice quick display for all to see. And regarding your point, to play Devil's Advocate, the fact that Pac has a different style than Judah and a shorter reach could wind up making his left more lethal towards Floyd than Judah's was. I'm not saying that's how it will play out, but it's certainly plausible, and an argument for such a case can easily be made. :smoke
Well His father or his uncle never really taught him to perfect the jab, its lacking if you compare it to his other assets. Floyd doesn't feel comfortable with using jab this is something i have picked on.
This is not about pac though? Mayweather jab needs improvement no one ever taught him the art of a jab. Its worse for him because his style is more jab related than Pac's style
He absolutely does when he decides to use it. Pac's straight left will be one of his best assets on Saturday, but if Floyd manages to take that away from him it's game over.
Floyd has one of the most perfect jab I ever seen...just too bad he doesn't use it more Floyd doesn't like to throw a punch that doesn't land but I think it would have helped him a lot in the fights he struggled if he would have just pumped the jab more even if it doesn't land
