Maybe he should go into sales/marketing then. Don't tell the fans that you are going to give them "blood, sweat and tears" and then turn around after you ran all night, and talk about how you don't fight that way.

Dang we got Ring Magazine as the ranking bible of both pro wrestling and boxing, Golden Boy promotions/HBO wanting to become a sanctioning body and Bernard faking a weigh-in slap on Winky.
These Vince Mcmahon Shannanagans are whats turning off the fans. Only chumps lap this stuff up.

Why would anyone think Baldomir is even slightly better than Spinks? Sounds like there are a lot of people putting all their

Spinks gets no respect in boxing..though he probably beat 90% of the guys out there from 147-154 easy...Ugly but easy....The mainstream clubfighting lovers hate spinks.he is the antichrist to them..they also hate any fighter that does not stand flat footed and deliver..or punch all round like a twit....they like seeing a lot of punches...so you wont like the spinks 1,2..I dont like the spinks 1,2 but I respect it...

according to anyone who knows a damn thing about boxing...

Spinks defeats Mayorga to unify all titles to become undisputed.
    Judah kayoes Spinks
    Baldomir beats Judah
    Mayweather beats Baldomir.

see how this boxing thing works?

Yeah, Leonard got the provisions in the contract (ring size, 12 rounds instead of 15) against Hagler. He also got them against Lalonde with Lalonde going down in weight and the WBC allowing Leonard to win 2 belts (168, 175) at once.

Even before Leonard, the original Sugar Ray was notorious for getting fights on his terms. Demanding every last dollar, threatening to pull out if the ring ropes were too loose, getting the money from TV in a particular country, etc...

That doesn't impress real boxing fans especially the example you just gave. Bottom line is that you are unwilling to answer the simple question of whos more dangerous between Spinks and Baldomir.:hat

Futhermore, its pointless to say the man who beat the man should be champion because today the best guys are blocked from fighting each other by a a huge assortment of corrupt bodies. The system that you hold in such high esteem is a sham. Common sense would you that or maybe your hopes are blinding you.:bart

Not only that but Hearns got ripped off twice against Leonard. The first was stopped to early and the second was just a robbery.

    So Correct.

You cant deny this fact no matter how much you hate Floyd. At the time Baldomir no matter how slow, 1-dimensional or old people wanna say he was. He was sitting pretty on top of the hill and so Floyd took the fight with the number1 guy.

You can argue that Baldomir beating judah didnt mean he could beat Spinks but without them squaring off in the ring this is the best way to judge things. You can also make the argument that the best fighters dont fight each other but in this case there had been a number of fights with Baldomir coming out on top.

If the fans want a Gatti than why don't they become one themselves?
