If you watch Mayweather from the beggining, you can see him giving credit to Ali, Leonard, Robinson, Whitaker, Chavez and Duran, he was a student of the game and the whole i'm the smartest fighter ever talk is just to make his fans believe him, but he knows that there's a whole history of great fighters behind him and he respects that.

 

You see, when he talks like that - with humility and respect for people - I've got nothing but love for him. And I know a lot of the other stuff he says and does is just to hype the fights and is a role he's playing but we need to see this side of Floyd more often.
