What acting have you seen? It was a terrible performance. The flopping around and rolling on the floor, throwing his head back in the opposite plane that the punch landed, jumping back like dynamite exploded on his head, then the crocodile tears afterwards.
I literally laughed when I watched it. Then I went online and I was shocked to see people not understand what it was, I couldn’t believe that anybody (especially boxing fans) could think that it was anything other than WWE style fun for Japan.

Who has taken a clean shot from an aged p4p superstar?
You obviously don’t know how much power is generated by a kick, Tenshin has taken far more power with no problem while weighing ten pounds lighter than he did against retired, untrained Floyd. It’s absurd to think that all that flopping around was from taking glancing punches from Floyd Mayweather. It’s clear that everybody involved knew what the script was for this fun, entertaining exhibition in Japan. The clue is in the name, it wasn’t an actual fight.

This exhibition was a blessing in a way, a reminder of the level of intellect you’re dealing with for the most part on a boxing forum. The blessing being that I won’t waste as much time on forums lowering myself by talking to people who clearly aren’t working with much.

Tenshin has and he got destroyed. There is nothing fake about actually being punched in the head by a boxing genius who is generating the power in his punches that Floyd was. The way he was throwing his punches was totally unusual but it was clear every shot he threw was meant to do damage. He knew he was in no harm.
This is a boxing forum not a kick boxing one. I have been kicked in the head before and been fine by much bigger men then in there and I have been shaken to my boots by just guys who train clipping me with punches I didn't see coming. Mma is relatively behind boxing and Rizin is not a company I had ever heard of. I am not disrespecting any other sport; I am simply saying that it should not strike many boxing fans as suspicious that Floyd mayweather, arguably a top 3 all time fighter knocked out a kickboxer from a upcoming mma promotional company in a boxing match.

I think it certainly looks like it could have been fake... But why the tears? And the continued tears in the dressing room? Could have acted just as devastated without tears.

You can say whatever you want but the fact is that kicks are more powerful than punches. That’s objective, quantifiable and can’t be disputed.

A kick is harder than a punch. Trying to argue otherwise is foolish.

There was no actual tears, and that was so he didn’t have to talk to commentators, the press etc. I thought that was obvious as well, but look where I’m posting.

People are honestly going to believe his handler thought their a 5’5” 125 Lb kickboxer was going to box and win against a real boxer at the 147 weight? Where everything was stacked against him. The only thing he had was youth. He isn't a boxer. Several weight class lower. The weaker fighter. Shorter reach. Hell he isn't even the best kickboxer at 125.

The outcome went exactly as people expected. That is the stage part. Both camp knew what the outcome was going to be. Whether Floyd played his role is what we will never know. Don’t think they wanted the kid blown out in the first rnd. Maybe hang with him till the middle or later rnds. That's why he was crying. He got made a fool out of it and can't say a damn thing. HE was expecting to lose but not blown out, humiliated, and completely outclass. Can't blame Floyd. Why take the risk of getting caught.

Here is another of Floyd own world about the fight. His interview with TMZ about the upcoming match. "Rules? It's gonna be a little boxing exhibition. No kicking," Mayweather said. "I'm moving around with the guy for nine minutes, and of course it's gonna be the highest paid exhibition ever."

exhibition: a display or demonstration of a particular skill.

Maybe it got heated leading up to fight and Floyd didn't trust the kid so he KOed him before he could catch Floyd.

Bottom line, a boxer - yet again - destroyed one of these "martial artists." From what I can see, these clowns don't take a very good punch, and they don't have the technique that ONLY the Sweet Science can provide!

Not really - the first one is from the view of the betting market and the second is from Tenshin's team.

The argument for the betting/organised crime angle I guess is that the first round knockout may have been an okay return. I still don't think it would be enough to go to the effort of rigging a high profile event.

The second point if Tenshin was also getting in the neighbourhood of $5mil+ then the risk/reward balance would be okay. But I still think if it was rigged he'd agree to lose on points rather than getting slapped around the ring and made to look pathetic.

I would like to see slow mo footage of the "punches" that knocked him down. He was flopping around like a fish, Floyd's old brittle hand don't have that kind of one hitter quitter power anymore.
