Weight is relevant, but Mayweather wasnt any smaller than his opponents, so thus in this case having longer reach plays a critical role in Mayweathers success. Your example is complete hyperbole, I am talking about fighters near or around the same weight class. Of course Weight matters on the grand scheme of things if you are comparing 147-154 to cruiserweight.

Look at the tale of the tape PBF has tiny wrist waist calfs chest forearms fists. He usually only had an advantage in reach espcially for his fights at 147 and higher.

Just look at the pic, he's got much more body fat than Floyd, there's no big size difference. All those guys are the same size as Floyd.

No they're not. These guys walk around bigger they're naturally bigger. Maidana is a bigger man than PBF. not to mention you can't gain much from pics because of angles and lighting. If you tried hard enough I'm sure you could find a pic of Mosley being smaller than PBF to.

He has longer reach than most of his opponents.

But you neglect all of the other things. I could say Pac has bigger calfs than all of his opponents, does that make him bigger?

They walk around with more fat and water. Floyd walks around fitter. Same size.

Mosley is bigger, it's clear in most pics so I don't argue that.

Mayweather isnt any larger than his opponents, or smaller, but he has superior reach, this is critical.
