Let me tell you that Floyd won over Canelo is one of my favorite fights to watch. Money may schooled him so easily it’s like watching a composer in charge of an orchestra. The only thing some can argue is that Floyd drained canelo 2 pounds but hey it is what it is. Even if canelo came in at 154 he would still lose maybe would have won an extra round lol making it 115-113 on CJ Ross card

I don't want to here it. Remember he was 22 right? He was young he did easily lose 1 more pound. He was fine on fight night. The weight had nothing to do with his performance it was the skills ans style of PBF that gave him fits. Quit with the excuses.

Good point, Alvarez was a green 22 year old kid when Floyd beat him. He is a totally different fighter now.

See the problem with people like you is. Is that you want to make an excuse for Canelo but at the same time ignore the fact that PBF was 36 and past his best in his 5th weight class. You can not do that and I won't let you do it. PBF's last prime fight was back in 2009 against JMM he was a better fighter in 2009 than he was in 2013. He was not prime when he fought Canelo he was faded and fighting in his 5th weight class. I'd rather be 22 with 40 fights the bigger man rather being 36 in my 5th weight class the smaller man and past my best. Most scenarios like this don't turn out well for the 36 year old fighter.

36 is slightly passed prime when 22 is very green.

Slightly past prime??? Yeah okay most fighters are done at 34 let alone 36 log off. In the boxing world I'd rather be 22 than 36 anyday.

Floyd was a very young and well preserved 36. Dude's constant retirements and vacations and defensive style was the reason Floyd was still prime going into his late 30s.

I mean you Floyd fans love saying the the dude never took any punishment and stays in excellent shape year round. Floyd's ring age is very young. Deal with it.

He was not prime in his late 30s. You're damn fool and don't know **** about boxing. He has been in a decline since the JMM fight back in 2009.:deal: There is no fighter who's physical prime in their late 30s and you just proved what I said about PBF earlier to be true. PBF is the only fighter in boxing history who was prime and at his best in every fight while other fighters have excuses and aren't. He is the only fighter held to that standard. I guess that just shows you how great he was.

We could do it there, instead?

That's your opinion, of course. Fluid may have beaten him anyway. But he needed the insurance of wringing out the last drop of water to win, because, let's face it, screwing every millimetre of advantage out of a match is what Fluid did.

We'll never know for sure what might have happened if Fluid had fought a fully rehydrated Canelo.

What's not an opinion is PBF won the fight clearly and Canelo never fought a prime PBF.:deal: Are you happy now? 22 is a alot better than being 36 in your 5th weight class.

Not really, even though Floyd schooled him Canelo was green, in the sense that was no where near his best years, he was also weight drained. Regardless of who pressed the issue for the catch weight it still hurt Floyd

How the hell was Canelo green when at that point he fought 40 professional fights. The last 5 were title defenses if i'm not mistaken. Usually in this scenario the older, past his prime fighter either gets taken to the limit or loses to the younger fighter and passes the torch. In this case not only did Floyd win by UD. He damn near put on a master class and embarrassed the younger fighter. That usually never happens. Literally Canelo may have won 2 rounds and i'm being generous. You are grasping at straws at this point to try and discredit the win. It makes you look like a hater. Just give the man his proper due and keep it moving.

cmon george, a man with 40 fights is not green. at maximum its perhaps aas high as 20 to be green (some examples might perhaps be joshua, jeff lacy). claiming 43 is the argument of a madman.
