Floyd Joy Sinclair Mayweather vs. Jean-Thenistor Pascal

This reportedly was in talks, until Mayweather earlier this week dismissed it on the grounds of "money not being right" and opted instead to aim for a second exhibition with John Joseph Gotti III.

And then, just half an hour ago, Pascal posted this on his FB:

Wishful thinking? Breaking news? Yet unclear. Also unclear are the details of the bout, were it to happen. It presumably would be an exhibition and count on neither's pro record, but discussions of things like weight limit and number of rounds haven't been made public.

 

Floyd was down to clown if the money was right. Alas, it wasn't, so this dream is deferred like a raisin in the sun - unless JP knows something the rest of us don't.

(most likely he's just attempting to bluff his way into generating buzz to make the money right)

 

Realistically he's no larger physically than Logan Paul. In fact he's equivalent to a full weight class smaller or so (Paul being roughly a natural large cruiser / small HW). That said of course he's a better fighter a million times over, even old and shot.
