Floyd Jr. "A fight with Pacquiao will never happen"

    Floyd Mayweather Jr. says Manny Pacquiao fight won't happen

    On a conference call to hype his Sept. 19 fight with Juan Manual Marquez, Floyd Mayweather Jr. says that Bob Arum is being greedy suggesting that he and Manny Pacquiao split their purse 50-50 and he says that fight will never happen if it's a 50-50 split.
    He also says this about Pac Man: "I feel Manny Pacquiao is a good fighter, he does his job to the best of his ability. Many people forget that Manny Pacquiao got beat by Erik Morales. I am still at the top of my game and I have never been beat. He hasn't done anything that I haven't done."

    Floyd needs to realize that he isnt that cash cow that he thinks he is. If he cant agree to a 50/50 split, then i'm sorry to say, but he has no interest in facing Pac.

    50/50 is a fair amount for this fight. there is no championship at stake, they bring the same money to the table, just let it happen floyd.

    Floyd thinks he's the best boxer this planet has ever witnessed and no one is worthy of himself.... He's living off the illusions his sorry ass ego provides him to feed on.....for now !!;)

    i get the feeling every time floyd makes a statement that he just isn't going to fight for p4p #1. the only thing the guy gives a **** about is money and it really ****in sucks for the fans. :-(

    Some way, some how, diehard Floyd fans will find a way to defend this ****, and justify Floyd not fighting him unless Floyd is recieving the lionshare. They would actually prefer for the fight NOT to happen, rather than Floyd give into 50/50, or have Floyd take less than Pac. I will never understand so-called "fans" like that. :huh

    This is why I will never understand why fans still support him, and defend him tooth and nail. I can understand if you admire his skills, and give him credit for being one of the best boxers of our generation, but to defend and support this type of behavior? Cmon!

    He says **** like this, then wonders why the boxing world (fans, commentators, writers, critics, etc....) dont give him any credit or respect.

    Just a ploy. Floyd is his own Promoter so this is like when Arum said it won't happen for 50-50. The fight will happen guys, has nothing to do with what Floyd wants. HBO will make this fight. The real Promoters ...HBO

    If he wont do 50/50, then the fight isnt happening. Pac is the star right now, and is the face of boxing at the moment. Floyd retired, comes back to fight a LW, and is now trying to claim that he deserves the lionshare? :-(
