I'm not surprised anymore @ what FMJ says. He better start concentrating on JMM instead of talking about Pac. He's acting like a JMM defeat is a done deal.

it is a done deal. when fraud handpicks an opponent he knows it's in the bag.

it's when he ducks and dodges (Cotto, margarito, Mosley) that he is unsure of himself and the outcome.

first off the title is misleading, and secondly for those that say he needs to worry about JMM...Im sure that Floyd was asked about the fight with Pac, and he didnt just start talking about pac...Thing I dont get about this whole thing is Floyd is saying the very thing that Pac is saying bout a possible fight...Both guys feel like they should get the bigger cut, but only Floyd is getting bashed for it...

I had been doing a great job of staying out of these kinds of post because its usually the same people saying the same dumbass ****...But I fell off the wagon:patsch

Who gets the lions share just has to wait till the PPV buys are in of JMM-Mayweather.......

.....I believe that if the Marquez fight sells more PPV's than Pac's fight with Hatton, Mayweather has made his case that he is the man that deserves the lions share......

.....assuming that Mayweather wins, which is a big "if" imo.:yep

Pacquiao against the winner of Marquez-Mayweather just might not happen if say Marquez-Mayweather surpasses a million buys.......

......if that happens, Mayweather is certainly entitles to want 60% of the purse.....if JMM wins, I doubt very seriously that Arum would want to negotiate in good faith for a close to 50% split......I'm sure Marquez would take slightly less as he wants to get his hands on Pacquiao........but Arum and especially Freddie Roach are too smart for that to happen......they know when a fighter has their number!:yep

If Marquez wins, the Pac team will continue to say Marquez cant draw.....even though Pac-JMM outdrew any of Pac's fights with MAB or Morales......I'm assuming or course that the Marquez-Mayweather fight outdraws Pac-Hatton.

Negotiations have to wait, lets see what happens with PPV buys for JMM-Mayweather.......then you loudmouths can start pointing fingers of who's ducking who.

Then why did Floyd come back? I think he and Pacquiao are destined to match-up eventually, it is a fight that has to happen. Why else would Mayweather take on the number 2 p4p who had close fights with Pacquiao?

Personally I hope the fight doesn't happen so Floyd can fight Shane, Cotto, or any of the top dogs at 147. I don't give a damn about him fighting Pac or Marquez at catchweights. He could attempt to clean out 147 and 154 and retire a legend if successful.

"Mayweather ripped Arum for demanding a 50-50 split of the purse for Pacquiao, the undersized Filipino star whose recent run of electric victories has elevated him to boxing's top echelon.

"If he wouldn't be so greedy, that fight would happen," Mayweather said of Arum, his own promoter until Mayweather bought out his contract to promote himself. ...."

I guess he's really pissed at arum

Void could have fought Pac instead of Marquez, but he refused.

Void is void. He can't sell tickets by himself. Fans have caught on to the joke of his money fight that will be a sick joke.

I guess he'd like to say that he beat marquez who (he wants to think) beat pacquiao. And therefore doesn't have to fight him. it's the old I beat the guy who beat the guy - transitivity formula.

This doesn't mean the pac-pbf fight won't happen though. A lot of things can happen in the coming months.

I'm sure the fight will happen, unless Mayweather thinks Pacquiao is too tough for him. (IE: Cotto, Mosley) If the Pacquiao-Cotto fight happens and both fighters slug it out for 12 rounds like a Marquez-Vazquez, Gatti-Ward type fight, then may'be all of a sudden Mayweather will want to fight them because he would know that they are shot fighters. He would do what he does best and cherrypick fighters right when he knows he can beat them.

Floyd is getting bashed for it because Pac's promoter Bob Arum has already lowered his and Pac's demand from 60/40 to 50/50, and Floyd is still demanding that he recieve the lionshare. Like I said earlier...Floyd has been off for nearly 2yrs, and is coming out of retirement to face a LW, while Pac has taken the sport by storm and has become the face of boxing. So how does Floyd deserve anything more than 50/50? If anything, that's being generous to Floyd!
