Floyd jr at welterweight

    You do realize that guys like Hank Armstrong fought for the middleweight championship. How will Floyd trump that if you will "complete his transition to G.O.A.T." if he wins two from Cotto, mosley and Williams?

    My reply to your earlier post:
    "The point is that Floyd became the lineal welterweight champ after three fights at welterweight. Mitchell, Judah and Baldomir. If you're strictly looking in terms of plain accomplishments this is a big big thing. When you look at what's out there in terms of quality of opponents at welterweight this is just more or less equivalent to what Pacquiao will be accomplishing when he goes up against Cotto in November."

    And no, Zab wasn't the champ when they fought. Carlos Baldomir was the lineal champ, remember?
