Floyd has been marketed as the type of guy this country hates. Black, wealthy, powerful, arrogant, unapologetic and unbeatable at his craft. It's paid off in a monetary sense for Floyd. Now, he's probably a decent person. But, this image that he's potrayed is what people remember when they see him. And this will follow him into retirement, as well. It's actually a more real and a deeper hatred than what people might feel for the bad guy on TV and movies. Most understand that's just entertainment. But, with Floyd people don't see it as entertainment. They want this man humbled in the ring and in life period. He'll probably need that security for the rest of his life.

Pacquioa on the other hand plays up the good guy role. And he is marketed that way. Not to say he isn't a kind person. But, he's no saint. And he's not really a good sport. He's gracious and godly in victory. But, not in defeat. People don't really notice that; because, they are too busy hating Floyd.

Because they all operate within the status quo. They can be frozen out if they say what's really on their minds, even if what they feel and want to express is right. They are not in the type of business where they can make $200 million + in 36 minutes of work. The forum they have to express themselves is completely controlled by someone else. And they are careful about what they say and do, so as not to bite the hands that feed them.

The difference is Floyd doesn't really have to censor himself. He can pretty much say and do what he wants. Obviously, he is not going to disparage his business partners. But, the negative press actually makes him RICHER. And most of all, he can't seem to lose.

Race is most certainly a factor here. But, it's not the only thing. He's marketed as arrogant and disrespectul. And the bad press for the domestic disputes doesn't help either. People who don't even watch boxing hate the man.

How many decent people do you know that chronically beat females. Beat his children's mother in front of them. Threatens his own children he will murder them if they call the police... wastes money on hookers, strippers, and drugs in front of his own children....

....not sure what your definition of decent people is but in my definition Floyd's actions prove he is the opposite.

That's what someone told you he did. The media is very powerful. And the narrative they want you to have is the story you will get. You have obviously bought into it, hook line and sinker. And in fact, you have created your own narrative.

I'm not saying he wasn't involved in some domestic disputes. But, domestic violence is a very broad term. If a man grabs a woman in a way that makes her uncomfortable, it's domestic violence.

He threatened his children with death? These are the same children that are ringside cheering for him at every fight and with him nearly everywhere he goes. You are really spinning this. He does not drink or do drugs. And I never see his children in any scenes where he is partying with females.

Floyd has a safety first, take no risks type of style. He's basically an anti-gladiator.

In life, if you want a big reward, you have to take a big risk.

So he risked his soul by selling it to the devil instead of being a gladiator.

Now, when you act like he does and influence people on his level where you're touching all these people, but with the words of the devil, then there will be hell to pay.

Floyd is lucky that people hate him in this world because maybe that will lessen what potentially awaits him in the next life.

That's the way you play the game.

Don't get me wrong, Pac needs to learn the lesson that God doesn't necessarily give you what you want, but if you trust in him, he'll give you what you need.

Floyd chose his road, now he has to deal with the consequences.

I don't care about what he does in life. That's his decision, but I know what I see. I see a man that can't generate fans with his style, so he had to sell his soul.

That's why no one will ever pay to watch Rigo or Lara. Not because they are black, but because they don't take any risks.
