Everyone started to know what Pac's going to do in the ring and this was why he had troubles in his last few fights against JMM and Bradley. They could figure him out and tried not to stand in front of him to trade punches.

By contrast, everyone also knew what Floyd Jr. was gonna do in the ring but still nobody was able to beat him.

Both fighters' style have not changed much. Pac still uses his in and out style with his speed of punch while Floyd still uses mainly his best defense together with his jabs and accurate counter-punches.

    So what you think?

BTW, I'm a big fan of both fighters.

It would be interesting as hell if they both fought at 130. Floyd threw his hands more back then.

Mayweather is a better defensive fighter, Pacquiao is a better offensive fighter. You put both styles in the ring and you could have an explosion in the making, very unpredictable especially when both have outstanding stamina, speed, will and ability.

Sadly both were too idiotic to force this fight to happen for the fans and their ever expanding wealth. Mayweather has been idiotic with his outrageous demands, he took it far enough to try and implement new sets of rules for this one fight. Pacquiao has been idiotic for playing it safe as he just did his job in the gym/ring and allowed his hired/paid promoter to do his job. Pacquiao never lied about this and openly announced it, obviously he doesn't pay Arum for nothing. Arum did his job and secured his stable/business/life as he signed Pacquiao to fight his guys over and over and they were all great fights in my opinion. Arum MADE Pacquiao by getting him those fights, surely Arum isn't only going to make Pacquiao for Pacquiao all alone, he's going to make him to further enhance/improve his business. Sadly not too many can see through this especially when it's clear as daylight, boxing politics isn't as complicated as one thinks, it's all about promoters and what they say/do.

In the end, both fighters are muppets for not forcing this to happen for the sake of the sport, fans and entire world.

You'll win more fights & be underapreacited by boxing off the back foot (Mayweather)
You'll get more fans & get overrated by fighting off the front foot (Pacquiao)

Let me make it clear you people. This thread is about whose style is better than the other. It's not focussed on why they don't fight each other, OK?

We have been talking about why both fighter duck each other for over 3 years on this website so IT IS ENOUGH. Please!!!

I'm a fan of both too, but I wouldn't say one style is better than the other from a viewing standpoint. Sure, I appreciate Floyd's technical superiority, but prefer Manny's tenacious attitude and aggressiveness. Just depends on what your preference is really. And from a fighter stand point as the lads said earlier styles make fights....

No style is necessarily better than another, it more about how said fighter has mastered and perfected their style.

Manny in my opinion has not perfected his style as much as Floyd has his.

Another thing is how a fighters style conflicts with another's. I also thin Manny's styles is not made for Floyd, partially because of Floyd's defense and his size advantage.

That being said I'll say what I've said many times before. Manny, Floyd and Arum can shove this fight up their asses. They promised us this fight year after year and every time, failed to produce. The fighters are not quite the same, and the appeal is lost. I have lost interest, and would rather see them fight other people. I dislike both of them and I don't care whose fault it was...
