in the process of waiting for marquez' decision to sign at 147, floyds camp has been in contact with don king about a possible fight with cory spinks (at 147).

last week marquez signed/stated he'd fight floyd at 145 and hasnt heard from floyd since.

after spinks' gutty victory over latimore which was his best performance IMO, he "called out" floyd jr during the post interview.

now its no secret that floyd-marquez would be the "bigger fight" in terms of money but who would you rather see floyd jr fight and why?

Definatly Marquez. Spinks is overated (cos he's boring) but he has nothing to show Mayweather. The problem with JMM is that he is know more aggressive (to keep him on HBO and rather than flying of to some foreign country were he gets robbed) and the more technically schooled marquez of old would do better. It would be more boring but it woulden't be easy for PBF to catch im due to the few risks he takes. Now he would go after Mayweather and eat counters. It should be at 140, not 147.

Definetely Spinks,a guy his size who has a style to actually have a chance in the fight unlike Marquez.
Sure it would be a very boring fight but at least a 50-50 fight.

Too be honest I'd rather Spinks because of styles. JMM brings nothing that PBF hasn't seen before.

The **** do you mean tuneup u cluelss *****.. Neither of them are tuneup, get that through your head. Even spinks has the style to frustrate Floyd..

Dont sleep on El Dinamita.. He's a ****in picasso with boxing gloves and a man like that is capable of anything.

People are really underating JMM here. He can bang and technically he will be one of Mayweathers hardest opponents (especially coming of a year layoff). Jmm seems to have the build to go up a bit and if he can bring his power he has a chance. SPinks is very similair to Demarcus Corley, who PBF beat down.

I agree. JMM is a great fighter and is capable of beating PBF if he shows rusts.

I feel PBF will beat JMM rusty or not but he's not to be underestimated he's too good.

I'd rather he fought Spinks cos at least he's a natural 147/154. Not a 135 who's just stepped up.

marquez is far better than spinks...he is by far the best 135 and a top 3 140 IF THEY FIGHT NEAR 140 IT WOULD BE A GREAT WIN FOR PBF

I prefer Marquez. I think Spinks-Mayweather might be a bit of a borefest. But I wouldn't mind seeing either and I feel neither are a real tune-up.
