So I'm going to play this game with you...here we go. Firstly, as a boxing fan...shame on you. You know as well as anyone that, "Pacmania." Obviously referring to the admiration, attention and general following Pacquiao receives, is more than this fight. Pacquiao stands for so much more to people around the world than just, "the guy who could beat Mayweather." And then...the 'hype'. The mans résumé speaks for itself. Neither of the two have anything left to prove. Shame on you tonight for being a silly billy. Get yourself off the internet and reflect on your ridiculous thread and then come back with a better attitude. Go on. Off with you.

Boxing is better off with 'PacMania' than without it in my opinion

The worst part is that posters who lost a ban bet are still here.

I try to tell people that about what boxing lacks, casual fans. The knockout by Marquez and this loss IMO is going to drive these casuals away from the sport and back to mma. The only fighter that they are interested in has disappointed them greatly and the hurt is real. A lot of UFC main events turn out to be as uneventful as last night (48-0). What the UFC does better IMO is showcase and publicize the undercards and up and comers. This is where the ko's which casual fans love so much are located

Pac fans will still be Pac fans. This is a dude that has a whole nation behind him, along with millions of others worldwide. This fight did little to diminish that. Kill the hype train, and put an end to the "MegaFight" era, yes. End Pacmania? No.
