yea , I'm confused to. Who is saying they don't want the fight?

Everyone is asking for this fight.

People just want Floyd to shut up. let the two side negotiate without taking this to the media. If it falls apart then let see what each side wanted and then we can see who was the deal killer.:deal

i didn't say pac is ****, got respect for him. give him credit for beating cotto. but people are overhyping him alot. you get his team talking about floyd cherrypicking his opponents, pac did the exact same thing.

marquez gave pacquiao a lesson in counterpunching for 2 fights, he totally outclassed him. and if the correct decision was given in the fight then we won't even be talking about floyd vs pac.

hattons performance against castillo was probably his best, even though it was against a fighter way past his prime at a weight which he hasn't done anything at.

if pac steps up to the plate and wants the fight then you all will see that floyd is the fighter of this era.

Most people say they going on vacation after a hard fough win, Mosley, Jordan, Jeter. And why the hell should Pac call him out when he is they champ and Arum and Roach already said if Floyd wanna fight call. Don't cry u just mad cuz they pull the panties from up under Floyd's britches. Roach sonned him on national TV, Arum sonned him at the podium, and Ra the Rugged Man sonned him on Shady 45. Oh and I forgot to mention the IRS also.

Fight is made on the Arum side. They prob already have an initial deal in place. If Floyd or his agent would call then it could be a wrap. Sum of ***** is scared as hell.

Nonsense and I'm a Mayweather fan.

When Pac fought DLH it was 50/50, as in both needed one another. When Pac iced Hatton it was obvious Mayweather needed him at that point, which is why he returned. Now this Cotto fights makes Mayweather need him badly with Pac not needing Mayweather at all. Pac can retire now without a SINGLE negative comment, Mayweather can't. That should explain it for you.

What Pac did lately put Mayweather's attempt to become the greatest of this era in serious danger and now it's Pac totally taking that positions with STEPS ahead that not only does Mayweather NEED to fight him and beat him, he needs to take major risks after it at all.

Pac moving up to fight DLH, Hatton and Cotto is like Mayweather moving up to Middleweight to fight Pavlik/Williams winner then Super middleweight to fight the winner of the super six. Only that way will he be able to become the 2nd man in history to win championships in 7 different weight classes. Not only this but Pac is also the first in history to win the lineal title in FOUR different weight classes beating the best.

Will take a while for me to make a prediction, can't do it right now to be honest, it should make things easier when the fight is official. I'd rather not get my hopes up only to see it all go down the drain with negotiation nonsense and delusional demands.

For now all I'll say is I don't know, it's 50/50 both have a great chance of winning and both need to come at their very best physically and mentally to win. Anyone that comes 1% less than they're supposed to loses, that's how risky it is.

First I'd like to see Pac take a tune up, a tune up is needed at this point and was actually needed before Cotto.

Hmm. I have to disagree. I feel like this would be a horrible move. It would fizzle out the excitement and buzz that has been generated. We just saw Mayweather and Pacquiao put on classic performances. The time has never been better than right NOW for this fight to happen. I'm not sure what a tune-up would achieve. Everyone knows who Mayweather and Pacquiao is, everyone wants to see the fight, nobody questions that it is a must-see fight... I just don't see any real advantage to postponing it.

So as Mayweather's chief strategist, what would you have him do? Fly across the Pacific, find Pacquiao at his home, and call him out? Seems more prudent to just do a public interview like Mayweather did.
