pac moving up to fight delahoya is more like floyd moving up to 160 to fight RJJ. floyd will prove that he is the better fighter, pac has shown in his career that he can be outboxed. after what he did to cotto noone today can stand toe-toe with the guy and exchange punches, but marquez showed that he can be boxed, and when cotto chose to box he was getting the better of manny. after the second knockdown cotto had no sting in his punches.

pac vs delahoya was built as 50-50 but at 147 oscar couldn't do anything, he was slow with no movement waiting to be hit.

i think mayweathers plan was to come back and fight cotto, because when he retired he was seen as the only person that could challenge him. i think floyd wanted to return, fight against two of the best left in the sport. he fought marquez, and instead of cotto it is pac. and once he has dealt with him then there can be no arguments.

I don't think so. pac has not fought the best at 135, 140, or 147. at 135 he fought the weakest champ in david diaz. at 140 he fought the weakest fighter in ricky hatton instead of tim bradley.

and at 147 he fought a shot dehydrated oscar de la hoya instead of facing margarito who had just beaten cotto. and he still ducked the best at 147 by ducking shane mosley instead of facing cotto who was looking like garbage against clottey.

he fought an erik morales coming off a loss to zahir raheem, who couldn't make 130 anymore and it showed in the rematch and then he fought morales again at 130 when everyone knew morales was dead at that weight.

he fought barrera again coming off a loss to juan manuel marquez. he then goes on to get a gift decision against marquez in a fight we all know he lost.

another nonsensical post you can't becoem the greatest fighter of our era by beating morales, barrera, marquez, david diaz, ricky hatton, oscar de la hoya, and miguel cotto. all of these fighters were washed up hence they haven't accomplsihed anything of note after losing. they are only names. the only p4p fighter that pac fought and beat was barrera the first time and that was way back in 2003.

pac hasn't taken any risks in the last 6 years and when he stepped up to a healthy fighter he got beat easily by erik morales. if pac was so great he would have stepped to cotto at 147 not 145. why 147 for de la hoya and 145 for cotto.:deal

and this is the most idiotic part of your post we know that pac did not win 7 titles that is all hype pac won sanctioned world titles at:

122 Super Bantamweight-IBF (3 title defenses)
130 Jr. Lighjtweight-WBC (0 title defenses)
135 Lightweight - WBC (0 title defenses)
145 Welterweight - WBO- (0 title defenses)

and saying floyd needs to go to 160-168 would mean floyd would have to jump 21lbs over and above his 147 weight. did pac have to jump 21lbs to face cotto:deal or even de la hoya:deal
