The only truth is Hatton saying in an interveiw that he would love to fight Floyd again. The rest is a bunch of made up **** by people that would love nothing more then for it to happen. Those people dont want to see Floyd fight Mosley, Cotto or Pac. Cuz if that happens that would mean yet another line of hate would be take away.

It's obvious that Floyds next fight will be against... Future IBO welterweight champion Matthew Hatton, leading to a rematch with Ricky once he looses his 0.

Just ****ing DUMB!!!

 

First, there is no way Floyd will rematch Hatton (and I'm no Money nut hugger, but from a boxer's perspective, who may not be as good as he says he is, it seems illogical to fight a dude that he deconstructed in 10).

Next, Floyd fighting Marquez was, I agree, a drop in class and not very entertaining; but, it was the right move after a 14 month layoff. And in my opinion Marquez was at least a decent fighter to bring the old rusty Floyd back into ring life. All I remember was Cotto fighting Alfonzo Gomez before Margarito - - thinking he was king. Now, I believe this Gomez fight ruined Cotto, not Margarito's hand wraps, which just broke his face.

Lastly, I hope Cotto wins this fight, as I think a showdown between him and Mayweather is way more likely than between Pacquiao and Mayweather. Then again, there is the slight chance Mayweather goes out on Mosley (who, as far as we know, could lose a unanimous decision to Berto, something I don't think is so far off considering Mosley's recent struggles against elusive (Cotto elusive) fighters). But don't speak prematurely about Floyd not hanging with the big boys. Just remember when Floyd fought Corrales and when he fought Castillo, both times, and when he fought Zab Judah - - all fighters who were different after their respective fights. As far as I'm concerned, Floyd's been just as tested, if not more so, than Pacquiao, a fighter who until now has fought fighters on the downhill, even far downhill in some respects (other than Morrales (who he lost to when it was for real), Barrera, and Marquez). But he too needs to take his time and adjust to the new weight, through De La Hoya and Hatton and perhaps even Cotto.

Personally, I would prefer to see Pacquiao fight someone more natural to the weight he and Roach have decided for him - - perhaps Timothy Bradley / Lamont Peterson winner? - - then to push up quickly into a fight with Floyd, and lose in a terribly unentertaining UD fight; and I would prefer that Floyd fight Cotto, maybe even Margarito, Mosley, or, if he's feeling feisty, Paul Williams.

 

No Dicko - I'm just saying that I'm entitled just like anybody else here to form a view about a boxer without "who gave you the authority" pricks like you rudely disparaging my or any other's comments.

It's as much coincidence as it is fact that Roach expressed a similar view to my own (after I said it) in relation to Cotto's team of yes men.
