Floyd landed 60% of his power shots on Guerrero, will he do the same with Canelo?

The only way Floyd will ever truly be challenged is if he moves up to 160 or if he stays around too long and gets old overnight.

Two things I agree with Floyd Sr on:

If you are not going to move your head there is no reason to Box

If you are flat footed you are a sitting target and you shouldn't box

It will be target practice on Canelo. The right hand lead is huge for Floyd in fights like this. He will land it over and over.

Canelo has no head movement and his feet are flat.

Probably not. Canelo has better head movement and guard than Guerrero.

Maybe but he showed good head movement in slipping shots against Trout.

Trout isn't Mayweather though. The thing that will interest me is Canelo tends to burn out in the later rounds and Mayweather is still strong I think he just will be able to land at will on a tired Canelo.

no, i think his % will be in the low 40s. canelo has obviously improved his head movement recently and he is enough of a clown to try and make floyd look bad swinging and missing. floyd also swung at a lot of air against cotto.

    Canelito still pulls straight back.

Trout beat him on the inside dude.
Canelito conceeded the inside from the first round.

People forget that Trout had Alvarez swinging and missing like crazy too.

Trout set the pace...controlled the center of the ring...had the better jab...and the better bodyshots...

He did and the fight wasn't as one-sided as people try to make it out the be. The knock down was the difference in the fight IMO.

I agree. Canelo will gas in the mid to late rounds. PBF will open up more in those rounds and land more power shots then. The thing about PBF is that his power and speed carry for the whole 12 rounds. He's just as fast and has as much power on his shots in the 1st as he does in the 12th, I have my doubts about Canelo when it comes to this.

    Errr...no

Canelo actually has a defense, and a good one too.

the open scoring was the difference in the fight. without open scoring im pretty sure there would have been more than one knock down. people say trout fought like that because he knew he was behind, but canelo fought like that because he knew he was ahead. not once was canelo in any danger or ever even looked like he was in danger of losing. it was clear as day who the better man was.
