Yeah he's pretty much a liar that believes in his own lies.

I remember he never follows a gameplan, then he talks about how his father's game plan worked for him in the fight.
He pretty much said "I let maidana be agressive and pin me to the ropes, while I complain to the ref, even though that was my plan to fight in the ropes"

 

so what if it was his plan to go to the ropes?

doesnt mean he figured maidana would foul the **** out of him and fight like a street thug does it?

There's not an existing fighter in the ww division that was available that could keep up with Floyd being Floyd.. Everyone says he runs that's why he's boring except for when he doesn't.. Then they say he lost or something else negative but never admit they were entertained, or don't care about being entertained by Floyd.. If I was Floyd I would say f the fans.. I'm going to win these fights and count my money...

Before the fight he said he will stand and fight.. Who knew that he would have to defend against knees to the face? If Maidana fought like a civilized boxer, Floyd would have still cruised to an easy win.. Maidana looked like he was in the fight because of his illegal activity in the ring...

 

How can you not expect that from maidana? Maidana is the same guy that threw a left hook at khan in the beginning of the first round when khan went to touch gloves. Maidana is the same guy who headbutted broner and then threw a left hook. Maidana is the same guy who low blowed Jesus Karass and Joseito on a break numerous of times. A man with 20 tattoos from the streets is obviously going to fight like a street thug.

those are floyds words. he's got you all duped. listen...remove your emotional bias and watch the fight again. sure, floyd complains to the ref about the fouls. that's what any fighter would do. he also used his own fouls with his typical forearm/elbow move.

look at floyds footwork in this fight as compared to what it was against guerrero and canelo. he stood his ground in comparison. he backed straight up to the ropes and when he had opportunities to circle away...he didn't. you can count the clean punches maidana landed on floyd. everyone wanted floyd to lose so bad...in their excitement...they couldn't see what was really happening. was floyd every really in trouble? aside from the headbutt, low blows and arm twist...i didn't see any discomfort. i watched him slip, block, roll, smother and hold with ease. i never saw his head get bopped the way maidanas did several times.

 

If you believe floyd chose to stand and trade with maidana leading to his toughest fight for the benefit of the fans your a fcuking moron of the highest order. What happened is floyds legs are going and he found that out at some point in his training camp and he realized he would not be able to stay on the move against a pressure fighter like maidana for 12 rounds and he didnt want to risk tiring late.

if this was your plan why complain to the ref?

when floyd started getting pounded and the ref wasnt helping out why didnt he switch tactics and simply outbox maidana like he claims he couldve done whenever he wanted?

The brilliant floyd mayweather couldnt figure out how to switch back to his usual dominant style?

why continue to take a beating when in the past youve said your first concern is your health?
