8-1 isn't doing Ortiz justice. The guy has very good boxing skills and technique and a rediculous amount of power. To my knowledge he's he's at the very least scored a knocked down in his last 15 fights. It might even be a longer streak then that but boxrec doesn't have that information. Eitherway thats serious power and an impressive ability to deliver it.

The fight being at 160 makes absolutely zero sense. Ortiz just won a belt at 147, and was at 140 prior that that. Mayweather's last 2 fights have been at 146 & 147 (suppose to be 144). There is no way Mayweather has trouble making 147.... if he wants the fight at 160 in preparation for Martinez, then he should have a tune-up against a real MW... if he wants the fight at 160, the only logical reason would be to avoid the use of 8oz gloves.

You're simply overrated Ortiz... the guy is 1-1-1 in his last 3 fights, has been knocked down 5 times in his last 3 fights , and been TKOd, has struggled against the likes of Lamont Peterson. Not to mention that he has 1 fight at 147.

    8-1 makes perfect sense.

"Fantasy"? I wouldn't call Floyd vs Vic a "fantasy" fight. Now PAC vs Floyd?? That's a fantasy fight or a "pipe dream" until Floyd finally decides he's cool with taking that risk. But from what he's shown the world, floyd's got a bag full of excuses NOT to fight PAC. I hope the vic fight gives the man some much needed confidence to get him secure enough to make this fight reality.

Ortiz is no Joke... anyone saying he is doesnt know **** about baaaxin! That said I dont think he could beat floyd due to floyds ring generalship and his skill set! I will have an orgasm in my pants if he does end up knocking floyd out!

ortiz is the best available WW...which is pretty sad. Not a knock on ortiz but he's a guy who was under achieving at Jr WW based on how highly touted the kid was and with one win against a decent young title holder he all the sudden becomes the man @ 147.It's a good thing for ortiz and also a bad thing. Floyd will mess this kid up good... Luckily Floyd isn't a puncher or I'd say Ortiz would be going into early retirement.

1... Dude quoted a Pacfan saying "Pac beats the **** out of Morales, Maidana and Ortiz fighting together" that's the "Fantasy" fight he's talking about...

2... Bag full of excuses that all state 'Take random blood tests up to the day of the fight'? Because that's the only thing Floyd's requested, and Manny's team has yet to contact them stating they'll accept. :thumbsup

He has something like 13 fights at 147. He's 5-0-1 in last 6 including coming off his signature and most impressive win.

    Pre Pac:

    Mosley - 0-1-1
    Margo - 1-1 in 2 fights
    Clottey - 0-1
    Cotto - 2-1 including a SD win

    Shut it.

    My bad on #1

#2.....PAC agreed...the fight was suppose to happen when Ross was in the mix solidifying all the particulars, only to see Floyd back out. We had excuses the Floyd lost his urge, was getting married, was on vacation and couldn't recall a 2nd round of negotiations. That's a LOT of excuses on why he can't fight.

Floyd hasn't reached out to PAC to try to make this fight happen when PAC has come out and agreed to all of the testing requirments Floyd needs to feel comfortable in taking the fight.

I meant fantasy as in Pac winning a fight that hasn't happened and likely won't.

I was joking around as that is the typical response from *******s whenever someone suggests that one of Pac's victims isn't in Mayweather's league.

Of course...:good You can't deny truth and I give props when it's due. But I do believe there are OTHER Welters out there that beat Vic. But Floyd picked Vic as his opponent b/c the man is coming off a big win over Berto....anther Welter who was good but over hyped.
