Couldn't be bothered to read all this, but maybe someone can answer this question I asked in another thread (which didn't receive a response as far as I can remember).

Who else, other than Ortiz, should Floyd be fighting this September?

Floyd was definitely scouting Berto. If Berto beat Ortiz, with his record up to that point intact, it would be considered a great matchup. But Ortiz won. Logical conclusion for Mayweather is therefore to fight Ortiz.

Please consider that Pac is booked up with Marquez and a Martinez fight is a fanciful proposition.

I've asked that time and time again. The response was 'I won' because nobody 'cared enough' to answer my question. :yep You won't get one from the people complaining.

You know how many times Knocz has ****ed up, talking about PAC's affairs and being completely wrong?:rofl So no...I don't believe Koncz at all.

Whatever you say regarding the 2nd round of negoitations Ross who is a nuetural party, but has deeper connections to Floyd, came out and relayed how close they were to making the fight. He went as far as to blame FLOYD...NOT PAC, for the fight not coming off and when pressed more about the situation his immediate replay was "YOu'd have to ask Floyd"..:rofl It's clear who's at fault for the fight not happening which is why there's overwhelming amount of support for PAC vs Floyd.

Floyd hyping the fight is not what happened in this situation.. Floyd "Killing" the fight is.

Relax... There's nothing to reach for.... I'm merely stating facts. I'm sorry but Shane was the exact same fighter he was when Floyd beat him a year before, to the time when PAC beat him. You give far too much credence to Shane beating Marg.

PAC beating JMM in November will be on par with the "W" Floyd got over him in 2009. It's a decent win but JMM simply is not a welter weight. It's easy to compare simply b/c they are teh same fighters.

I never once said that Floyd should not fight Ortiz in Sept... I simply am trying to tell these idiots, who are vastly overrating Ortiz simply because it supports their agenda, that Ortiz is not that good... and is nothing but a good choice for a tune-up.

Unlikely. Berto had many haters, even when he was unbeaten. He was thoroughly exposed by a B level, slick fighter when he fought Collazo and was dropped like a bad habit by Cosme Rivera. As long as Floyd is fighting Ortiz to then go on and face Pacquiao then it's a decent matchup, at best.

Koncz was on HBO 24/7 that EVERYONE saw saying that... Nobody from Team Pac's camp cared to clear that up? Ever? They felt it was best to just let the world think Pac only agreed to a 7 day cutoff? Ok.

Floyd's team may very well be okay with a 7 day cutoff, we do know however Floyd himself isn't. Team Pac offered 7 days, Team Floyd minus Floyd Mayweather jr. himself liked it, they say ask Mayweather why the fight didn't happen. Mayweather continues to say in every interview when he agrees to the tests we'll have a fight. Makes since doesn't it?! Don't have to reach or grasp at straws or anything. Goes in line with everything we've seen to be FACTS. :thumbsup

odds reflect how much of a mismatch of a fight this is. floyd is out to get his easy money and goes to vacation again without fighing pacquiao next.

You're stating facts that have nothing to do with the topic.. but, do you.. So the losses Shane suffered didn't effect him in any way? Shut out by Floyd after his big shots the second round then getting a draw with Mora... Mosley got a draw with Mora... Mosley was not the same fighter. Mosley tried to beat Mayweather. Mosley went to get paid fighting Manny not beat him, he couldn't beat Mora. Nazim said he knew Mosley couldn't win.

Wait wait.. weren't you talking about long layoffs and whatnot earlier? Didn't Floyd fight JMM after a long layoff? :nut
