if he doesn't want to use 8 oz, he will negotiate that into the contract.....surely he has enough pull to do that

I am sure that the *****s would be happy if gayweather wins by a wide unanimous decision.

Berthoe knocked down Ortiz twice but I am predictiong that a wide unanimous decision without a knockdown would be hailed as performing better than Berthoe.

I am already stating this - after the fight where Gayweather would score a 12-0 DECISION WIN, many here would be seeing it as the second coming of Jesus.

what's in ortiz that will make him win? he's a crude brawler and chinny, no jab, bad footwork, decent speed. floyd is master in the ring though hes older hes much quicker. he'll school ortiz with KD.

Saying they have nothing to do with the topic is your way of wanting to avoid a legit comparision. The LOSSES Shane took could have effected him. The one to Winky or the couple he lost to Forest could have affected him....even the loss to Mayweather could have affected him.

But being INACTIVE definitely effects a 38 or 39 yr old boxer who needs to be active at that stage of their career. So a 14 month layoff before fighting Floyd wasn't exactly the best idea which is why I don't blame Floyd for NOT fighting PAC immediately coming back from his 14-16 month layoff and he's not even 35 yet.

Shane got a draw with Mora which MOST felt he won but the biggest aspect was Shane was ACTIVE before stepping up to face Manny a year after his loss to Floyd.

I'm not twisted....I know Shane wasn't the same Shane that fought the 1st two time...but he wasn't that Shane when Floyd got him either. Just b/c he beat Marg dominantly folks forgot that he looked average in his last 5 fights before then. Shane almost lost to Mayorga if not for that last round KO.

Floyd fought a LIGHT WEIGHT who was older, smaller, and blown up in his comeback. It's a TUNE UP! Just like Berto is a TUNE UP! All fighters have an option to come back after a long lay off and most want a soft touch. JMM was that soft touch but had a big name so it was ideal for his comeback fight.....so was Berto.

I dont think he will but he possibly could. I dont think the odds should be 8-1! It will be a competitive fight.

Rely all you want on the word of Koncz. You'll continue to look foolish by taking his word. Manny cleared it up when he gave HIS interview with HIS own words.

Just like Floyd attempted to "clear up" the mess regarding whether or not there were negotiations the 2nd time around which he adamantly denied. Yet his adviser, promoters and HBO prez came out and all confirmed that they DID in fact take place and the fight was pretty much done.....that is until Floyd decided to catch amnesia.:rofl

Just like the who $100 Million gurantee Floyd was suppose to have demanded to fight PAC. People from his camp confirmed that to be true....but again....when Floyd was asked the question he denied it. So are you saying that you want to take ANOTHER persons word OVER a direct quote from the source themselves?

Team PAC may be "OK" with a 7 day cut off too....but PAC doesn't seem to want to give Floyd ANY wiggle room to excuse his way out of this fight, so Manny's willing to bend over backwards to agree to all the demands Floyd needs to feel comfortable taking this fight.

You definitely know what "reaching" is and you are proving that clearly.
