Neither Pacquaio's torn rotator cuff or the IV scandal are jokes. One was a legitimate injury that necessitated surgery The other was blatant cheating & corruption when the NSAC tried to cover Mayweather's ass
Woooweeee! "DON'T CARE WHAT YOU OR PEOPLE LIKE YOU THINK!"??? Lol You sure about that, doe! You seem awfully riled up in that post! Anyway.. I know how to score fights just fine and so do the millions of fans AND pundits who feel Floyd should have gotten his first L. Dumb dumb. Castillo clearly was the aggressor and landed more. But they pushed who they wanted to push for the W.
The fight was pretty much even.. It just depends on how you scored the rounds the two were deducted a point. That's literally the difference in Mayweather by 1 or 2.. Castillo by 1 or 2.. Saying this fight was a blowout for Castillo shows lack of knowledge on how boxing matches are scored.
I'd agree with that. Even enough for the first 6 rounds, and very much Castillo's fight after that. Rewatching it, I'm mystified as to how the hell Mayweather was allowed to get away for so long with what is the notionally illegal tactic of hitting and holding. Skulk out of range-throw a pot shot-immediately throw up both gloves and grip the other guy by the head/neck. Worked for him as he was elusive and had a fast punch - but hardly fair that he alone had an immunity from this particular rule. And that, in essence, was his staple tactic for about a decade. Not really different from holding and hitting and in all seriousness it's very hard to understand how he got away with it.
Floyd won the first 5 rounds. Castillo handled him from that point on, but it was too little too late. Classic example of head shots vs. body shots. 114-112 Mayweather every time and I've watched this stinker about 5 times start to finish.
what's a joke about fluids TUE 3 weeks after he was caught? and manny needing surgery after the fight?
Exactly! Castillo was far more dominant against Floyd than Salido was against Loma yet look who the sport gave the win to.
He landed more in the rounds he won, yeah...But if a fighter outlands the other in the other seven (or lands eye-catching head shots, at any rate) he stands a good chance of winning those frames and the decision. The dynamic in those two fights was kind of similar, at least in terms of how I personally scored them. Loma closed strong, but a lot of the rounds that I gave to him (and I gave him seven against Siri) I thought he just managed to shade. Salido won his rounds more clearly and controlled the narrative through the first nine. Castillo won his rounds in similar fashion and controlled the narrative in the second half; but winning five in dominant fashion doesn't help you out if the other guy shades seven.
10-12 were all more dominant rounds for Lomachenko than any round Salido won with 12 being the most dominant round in the bout.
Sure. But those final three frames were the only clear rounds that Loma won. I had him shading another four. In much the same way, Floyd quite clearly took the first four, but had to scrape another three on my card.
Yes, everyone knows that Void lost to Castillo, but the judges were crooks! How can boxing be cleaned up? Void also lost to Oscar..................
I dont care about what you think because I've been reading your post for a while and you have no idea about boxing, dude, NONE. What's your scorecard? just curious. I would like to see the aggression of castillo during the first 5 rounds, and how castillo wins 7 rounds in a row (thing that actually never happened). Your scorecard, I gave mine, give us yours.
