It's fair for Floyd to say he doesn't want to let the admiration of fans drive him to fight longer than he should, but that wasn't the question, nor was it the topic at hand. The question was Pacquiao. It's odd to bring up your health as a factor, and it makes more sense that he actually might have some fear in him (something I haven't really seriously entertained before) when you consider he still considers the damage that Manny has done "unnatural."
I never said he was a coward Simple Jack. I said he could be alluding Pac would hurt him. Can you even read you illiterate ****?
so, this mayweather-cotto fight is between 2 guys that don't want to get hurt. cotto for not willing to die in the ring which is smart and for floyd who doesn't want to end up like ali, which is also smart. i wonder if there is a secret clause in their contract. :think
floyd ****ed up big time in this one and he basically admitted that he is not taking a pac fight because it is deemed a dangerous fight in his own standards.
it's just me but i think this is a catchweight fight where both camps would not divulge it to the press. if both weighs way below 154 in this fight, then my hunch might be true. remember that floyd's team wants the marquez catchweight of 144 to be secret in the media.
It's just an excuse to not fight Pac. Watch when Pac retires, Floyd will start acting like he knocks people out.
I'd fight Pac for less, say 5mil or even just a million. Anyway, didn't Pac say boxing is not about killing each other?:good
When Floyd comes out with statements that may have revealed his true intentions about the Pacquiao fight..... it's not what it seems because he just isn't that good at answering questions. That's all. But when Pac pauses, stutters and can only give one-word answers in a foreign language he's not good at understanding or speaking...... it's because he's nervous and scared of Floyd.
he talking with regards to fighting someone roided up. He's trying to apply the "take the test" argument. Mind you, although Pac says he's down for the test, it may just be for damage control/strategy (i.e. accept the test but ultimately avoid the fight).
didn't pac said he agreed to the test and he is only asking for a fair 50/50 deal? so why would floyd bring that up when being asked of a fight with pacquiao?
Sure he publicly said he agrees to the test but no fight got made and no test was taken...therefore, he could say whatever he wants as long as the fight wasn't made
Just another foot-in-his-mouth moment for Floyd. He probably had this well-thought out response in his head, maybe Costas even whispered the questions in advance to help him out. But as usual this stuttering fool had problems articulating. At least Pacquiao has an excuse, English is his third language. ...and no, Ebonics don't count as another language.
If Floyd's Little ***** Ass was so concerned with his health, then he wouldn't have ever gotten into boxing. The health argument only ever comes up when he's fielding questions about a Pacquiao superfight.
