Bceause when reading the posts, it seemed that every number and figure is definite and so sure.

If somebody can posts those actual tax returns or anything related to that, then we can all shut up.

Numbers don't lie. Conjectures and speculations are just guessworks.

If you say 40 million, who am I to argue? I am not privy to their finacial dealings. Not a dime goes to my pocket!!!!! But commonsense should prevail. Example, why would a small mexican company pay almost half what Pepsi pay during the Superbowl to advertise in a niche sports of boxing? If they doubled that amount, they could be already in the superbowl advertisement.

Besides the point, if this is another "Gayweather did better than Pac threads", Pac is earning in dollars and spending in Peso. Big difference.

Edit : let us be clear, I never questioned the 40 million dollars because it think that is the best case scenarion ofr this fight. I just question if Tecate would really pay 15 million dollars to advetise in a single match.

The only thing I can say is everybody got thier eyes on Floyds pocket book. Whats up with that? You know with Floyd, if it dont make money then it dont make sense. I for one could care less how much he made cause I didnt get a dime of it. The man is a G and hes getting paid. You cant knock that.

Well Floyd had personal stuff to say about Rick Ross, too. He knows me, and he would never say anything to my face. Floyd ain’t no gangster like he thinks he is. I’m not a part of the Hip-hop world when it comes to a rapper. I’m a part of Hip-Hop when it comes to the streets. You can pull up my record. But I don’t back the ignorant days of my past and having to spend years in a 5 by 5 cell. I know how these dudes would really be if they weren’t surrounded by gold watches, diamonds, and all that. It means nothing to me, and I don’t have to play the buffoon like the system wants.

If he wants to waste money in clubs, blow $40 million dollars and not pay his taxes, that’s on him. We have to think and be different. ****** Buffet and Bill Gates, you haven’t seen those guy’s houses. You haven’t seen Bill Gates with a million dollars sitting in stacks like some drug dealer. I don’t have a self-esteem problem, Floyd does. I’m 45; he’s like a young boy to me. I was schooled by old heads. So when I became an old head to the 20’s and early 30’s guys, when I speak they listen. Same why the rappers do with Jay-Z, I have that in the boxing world.

Not as much but close to Floyd's numbers but look at the purse, greedy Floyd purse is so much bigger than the other boxers who can generate similar numbers. The purse difference is not proportional to the numbers generated.

Floyd is not boxing's biggest star. A villian can't be the biggest star. A warrior/hero is the biggest star. Fans don't like or support a villian unless they're ******ed.

If you dig around here in ESB, I explained this before.

PBF gets a large cut of the pie. He also takes on the risks and costs. But in the end of the day he pockets more compared to traditional contracts.

 

Yep, think of PBF not as boxer but as Top Rank or GBP.

It is like when you own your own company. You don't pay yourself a six figure salary. You pay yourself a penny and take it from the company profits. When he fights, GBP does not higher a boxer, they hire a company (at least when discussing finances).

The downside is your earning is directly affected by the risks and cost the business takes on. The upside is you get a bigger cut.

Traditional boxers do not take the risk. They want the "guarantee" which is less risky but less than what PBF "can" earn.

GBP for example did not earn as much as the JMM vs PBF fight. But I am sure the PBF vs DLH and PBF vs Hatton more than made up for it.

The funny thing is that there was an actual tax return to include income from the JMM vs. Gayweather fight filed by HBO at the end of fiscal tax year.

The actual earnings was actually less than what is announced. Considerably less. I am sure someone can search for it. Can't be bothered. I would just settle for my opinion since they are facts!!!!

 

It wouldn't surprise me if GBP and Floyd pad their numbers to make it appear that they are a better promotional outfit than TR.

...at the same time, it would not also surprise me if TR under reports their numbers so they could hide some of their income.
