LMFAO Dan also works at ESPN. At least he's been consistently close in his estimates. Nice try believing some number you think is in the low 700K. Make up more facts *******. OF course you guys make up a number and run with it. Just like Progayer said the Pac Rios fight had 30M promotional budget before the PPV numbers came out. And how Pac v Rios was going to do in the 1-1.5M PPV because of all the chinese.

You guys like to make up numbers like how SHO is going bankrupt over Mayweather. The only number you fools need to remember is #1 PPV, #1 P4P and 47-0. FACT!

NOPE they've had record subscribers since Floyd has been there. Of course, he's only a part of the reason why. FACT! Boxing isn't their main business idiots. It's called diversification. CBS/SHO pay Floyd chump change compared to what they take in.

$75 was a insane amount to charge, especially after the less than exciting first fight

If your gonna charge that than they should, have stacked the card ..I beleive the reason they charged so much was to try to recoup some of the money lost on the last PPV

SHO isn't losing money idiot. You act like SHO is only boxing. :patsch To say that SHO is losing money is idiotic, I mean *******ed. They have one good show. They're about equal. They had Dexter. Ray Donovan. They're NFL show is a big hit. So you're talking out of your butt.

Funny how you talk about everything other than PPV for HBO.

    idiot. this is boxing forum.

saying showtime is losing money is when it pertains to boxing. youre the only who brought cbs into the discussion.

    is all about budget allocation.

showtime, boxing division, has allocated the a portion of their boxing budget to flopjr, roughly 250m, iirc.

in 4 fights he has done so far, it's easy to see showtime, boxing division (for the dumb that needs to be spoonfed with specifics), as a whole hasnt recoup their investment and looks to lose more, depending on who flopjr fights next.

showtime incomes from other divisions, they are not going to put that into boxing to cover up.

the budget has already been allocated, and the boxing division decided to pluck down a big chunk to flopjr.

at the end year (reviews could be done quarterly), all numbers will just be tallied.

for divisions losing money, heads (expinocha in this case) can be axed, demoted, reassigned, or the entire division can be shutdown, employees reassigned or offered early retirement packages, severance pay, etc, whatever is applicable.

of course expinocha is going to be asked how he plan to address this problem (3rd quarter review is around the corner if cbs follows normal fiscal year like most corps).

im guessing the top priority is pac vs flopjr in may, or flopjr vs. either cotto or ggg at 154 or upwards.

failure to do this ****, there could be severe consequences, like slashing the boxing budget next year or worse, expinocha getting sacked.

no one is saying showtime is going bankrupt, esp cbs.

    read and learn idiot.:good

SHO isn't LOSING money. FACT! I AGREE! This is a boxing forum not some wannabe accountant forum. You're making up more BS like when you said the promotinoal budget for Pac v Rios was over $30M. You have no credibility.
