Canelo actually took a few rounds from Mayweather in the 2nd half of the fight when he got aggressive. I dont view the 2nd half of that fight as a mismatch.

Mayweather fears height and reach and he fears speed, because he just is'nt matching up against those fighters.
Khan offers speed and his height and reach is comparable to Mayweather's.
What does Mayweather do, he's lining up himself to take on a slow, one dimensional plodder made to order for his style. :verysad

Canelo barely won a round. And its stupid to think that Garcia and Julio Diaz, could handle Khan's speed but Mayweather is afraid of it.

Whether it was because Mayweather wanted to take some rounds off or whatever, Canelo won 5 close rounds on my card and was competitive in the 2nd half of the fight.
A fighter like Mayweather starts to dominate the early to mid rounds and people just tune out and stop focusing on who is actually winning the remaining rounds.

Fighters that give Khan trouble are those with power and who actually look to sit on their punches. Mayweather has some pop on his shots, but he rarely seeks to sit on his punches. He does'nt deliver the power because his focus is on defense.
I want to find out how focused Mayweather can be when the shots coming at him are a blurr and faster than his.

I think the casuals will eat the fight up, and that's who pays the lion's share of the $$. Many of the harder core fans might forego the fight, since we all know the outcome before the belt even rings, and the fight will be so one-sided, it's likely to be quite boring.

Yeah fans eat it up and over a mil buys.

I dont think it will be boring, I love watching a true techinan of the sport and Maidana isnt gonna run hes gonna be right there. Mayweather hasnt backed up in a fight in a long time, stays in the pocket these days. I think very exiciting

Mayweather used his legs vs the bigger Canelo, but he does'nt need to run vs Maidana as Maidana is'nt a huge puncher as a Welterweight.
Maidana could'nt put out a lightweight in Broner and he was hitting him with power shots at will. He's certainly not going to be bullying around Mayweather who's backed up much stronger physical fighters than Maidana in Mosley and Cotto.
