To me Ali between 1964-1975 and Duran between 1972-1980 were the GOAT though of course Charley Burley and Sugar Ray Robinson were clearly in the equation, however when it’s all said and done Floyd “Money” Mayweather a.k.a. Pretty Boy Floyd makes a compelling case:

Gotta love how Floyd complains about the sport having too many champions today in the 4 belt era with 18 divisions, and then goes ahead and calls himself TBE due to his record against said ''champions''. And he uses compubox stats as a measurement for greatness, when it didn't even exist until 1985.

What about wins against Hall of Famers ?
What about wins against ranked fighters ?
What about wins against lineal and undisputed Champions ?
What about how good the particular guys he fought were in ATG standards ? After all, numbers aren't everything.

There are several fighters that have him beat in the above.

LOL Floyd is smoking his underwear again.

He'd be very lucky to make top 10 ATG nevermind the GOAT

I'd rank Pernell Whitaker higher than Floyd both resume and skillwise

Charley Burley is not in the equation if Ezzard Charles isn't.

I'm not surprised at a boxing great like Floyd being arrogant that's common behavior amongst elite level athletes and that "0" has gotten to his head.

    fantastic on film.
fought way past his physical prime.
beat so many rank 1/2 guys, over 30lbs of divisions.

has anyone ever beaten more belt holders? many of them legit champs.

I will go further. He even has no case for a Top 10 ATG ranking in my view.

Rather interesting he has to try to convince everyone the he is the GOAT. Wonder if he is trying to convince himself.

I am an old boxing fan that usually tends to think that the true ATGs are few and far between, especially for the past 20 or so years.

Floyd imo is an ATG who would've given a great account of himself and be a handful against almost anyone in history. But the GOAT? With names like Greb, Armstrong, Robinson & many others in boxing's rich history, I don't see it. I can see an argument for Mayweather to be in the top 30 of all time though.

Gun to the head, I believe top 20 is a bit of a stretch as well.
