Floyd making 40 million against Mosley

You're talking about YOU'RE projection of 8-12 million which is based on complete conjecture. I think the fight will do well simply because people think Floyd has a real chance of getting KTFO (which obviously won't happen). But judging by the odds i saw i think GBP need to promote Mosley as a bigger threat than the casual fan thinks. The fight will prob do about 1.3-5 mill PPV. May will prob make somewhere in the high 20s.

I think this bout does better than both the Marquez and Hatton bouts. I don't think its going to get anywhere near De la Hoya Mayweather. Mayweather Mosley will probably do better than Clottey Pacquiao, possibly due to the 24/7 series. But you never know, Pacquiao brings a lot of casual fans to the table.

I think 30-40 million is realistic.

 

assuming 1.5 million buys that's approximately 90 million in PPV revenue with half going to the distributers that's 45 million split between PBF and Mosley at about 65/35 that's about 30 million in Floyd's pocket. Add another 15 million at the gate with at least half going to PBF and that's 37.5 milion.

 

Remember fight was postponed due to "injury" on floyds shoulder. just so happens that they schedule the fight on the weekend of MEXICAN INDEPENDENCE DAY, I think that has A LOT to do with the success of JMM/Pbf....

JMM ( the best mexican fighter right now ) + Mexican independence day + Floyd's comeback = Huge PPV success
