Is there even proof of Mayweather beating his ex-wife? I mean, it's kinda suspect when that same woman accused him of the same thing a couple years back, but then admitted that she was lying the whole time. Also, if Mayweather did beat his wife, I agree how you steroids is not as bad as beating your wife, but the thing that bugs me is that a lot of guys would hate on Mayweather so much if he were caught with steroids.

Fmj has a valid point. However Odlh has at least admitted what he did, has taken the blame and seems genuinely sorry.

Puts him miles ahead of Floyd. I'm sure, to this day, Floyd believes he's never hit a woman or said things about Pac and PED's. Some people are so good at lying to themselves, they believe it.

And why wouldn't that bother you? Very odd thing to profess. Don't you think it would be valid after all the **** he's been saying? :huh

    "...and drinks alcahol..."

He sounds like a 50 year old conservative southern house-wife.

Thats the dumbest logic I've ever heard. What next? Murderers, rapists are still good people so long as they admit to it.:rofl

Yes, if you plead guilty and go to jail or prison, it's ok because you've accepted responsibility for your actions. If you plead not guilty, and lose and go to jail or prison, you obviously have lied so you are a bad guy. The truth shall set you free.

Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. I personaly think he will have but he's still done a list of other stuff. The thing is with Mayweather though is that he has absolutely no respect for other people unlike DLH, RJJ, SSM, Hatton and others so people are less forgiving and like David Haye he isn't the least bit funny with his constant arogent statements and gets upset when he finds out that many people dislike him.

Yes his tweets were both disrespectful to Ortiz and racist. He said something like 'BLACK people go through hardships and ALWAYS suceed.'

Undermining his achievments and determination as something ANY BLACK person would have done in his shoes.

That's rubbish. A black person would be no more likely than anyone else to suceed. Floyed would be singing Ortiz's praises if he was black though. Ortiz had it tougher than Floyd and grew up to be a polite and respectful person. Other than that I agree. People do worship celebs too much.

Roy Jones Jr. Can be added to that list as well. Floyd gets no love for who he is outside the ring because he's so fake. Ironically he plays the "im so real" card as if he's overly trying to convince everyone to take his word for it. He's been massively unsuccessful.
