They all will be retired very soon, propably in few years. This era producred some really strong Champions whose legacy will live for ever.:deal Floyd was the biggest star but the most hated, Wlad maybe most underappreciated and so on when they were active. But they all will be remembered more kind way when it is all said and done.
Floyd and legacy in the same sentence dont compute. What floyd are is the smarstet boxing/businessman ever seen in boxing. But he is not an ATG in the boxing aspect. Name me one ****ing fighter who is an ATG on floyds resume?? However what floyd has created is a money emporium where for the first time in boxing history we get to see a boxer taking advantage of promoters and the fan base for his own benefit. That is truly impressive. However is legacy is a disaster to the sport of boxing. We got young fighters trying to imitate floyd now and do what he has done to make as much money as possible and the outcome will be the end of pro boxing
Well Ward is interesting case. he was the man but such a short time but maybe if he can come back.:think
Absolutely. Great thread. The new generation of boxing fans will be hearing about the days of pac, mayweather, hopkins, wlad, ect.... and we had the privilege of watching them.
Let's be fair here, Tyson Fury's run as champ was a heck of a lot more fun that Wlad's 10 year reign. Plus Fury wouldn't have ducked a unification with Joshua like he's doing
