Enough of this ****.......the man has a right to claim he won those fights.......

Thats the only damn thing you want to hear of Marquez when he speaks.....

If they ask him about Pacquiao, of course he's going to say he thought he won those fights.....and quite frankly anyone with a brain would rate Mayweather at this point the better P4P fighter.......Marquez himself is rating Mayweather above himself, which is the reason why he's fighting him.....he wants to prove to himself he can fight at Mayweather's level.

.....as for JMM's respect for Pacquiao, he's never had a bad thing to say about Pacquiao the fighter. He fully respects Pacquiao's abilities and acknowleadges him as one of the better fighters in the sport.

You know talk about a camp of a fighter respecting another......the JMM camp led by Nacho Beristain has had nothing but praise for Pac's abilities.

I remember Nacho training DLH and being asked about the matchup......Nacho stated that DLH has to be very alive and aware at all times in the ring because of Pacquiao's maniacal movements in the ring are like no other, and difficult for a fighter to get a beat on.......

Nacho always stated Pac's strenghths and never highlighted his weaknesses.......

......to the contrary, Freddie Roach nowdays has shyed from even commenting on JMM, the most I've heard from him since Marquez schooled his fighter was, "he's a good fighter, but my guy is better.....

......unlike the JMM team, Roach goes out of his way not to praise JMM's abilites, while the JMM never shy's away from it and honestly talks about Pacquiao the great fighter.
.....to me, it shows me how insecure the Pac team is of exposing themselves and giving another fighter the credit he deserves.

Honestly, I feel the Pacquiao team wants to forget those JMM fights happened, while the Marquez team embraces them, talks about them giving themselves and Pacquiao props......and end it with "the people are the one's that tell us, "you beat Pacquiao" everywhere we go!

....the JMM team is secure in themselves when they speak of the Pacquiao fight, and I just dont get that sense from the Pacquiao team.

Of the words that usually come out of Floyd's loud mouth, 95% is pure brash and 5% is plain truth. In the above quoted words from Floyd, we all know that "Pacquiao is a good fighter" pertains to that 5%.

Oscar is acting funny. He was very competitive vs Floyd and he even thought that he defeated Floyd. On the other hand, Pac turned him into a rag doll and he (ODLH) conceded his defeat to Pac by quitting before the 9th round and even told Pac "you're my idol now". Oscar now tells us that he felt more skill coming from Floyd than he did from Pacquiao. What a clown!?

As for JMM, I can understand why he thought he won twice vs Pac. Even Oscar thought he won against Floyd. Perhaps JMM in all honesty could not remember the KDs inflicted by Pac considering that he didn't see the punches that floored him 4 times and maybe he thought that those KDs actually were merely slips.

This is the reason why divac will always be the biggest fan of JMM here and not radab. Where is radab when you need him here?

On the topic, I would like to know why those 3 guys ended up talking about Pacquiao when he is not even a party to the fight.

Obviously its the media that brings up the name Pacquiao, and those involved just answer the question.

The media are obviously licking Pacquiao's balls, especially those media types that cover fights that have just a basic but not a full understanding of boxing (there are more of them that actual educated boxing journalist that know) .....alot in the media just know that Pac dominated DLH and KTFO Hatton......but they really dont understand boxing styles and matchups.....

......so when you have that, its the promotions job to hype the fight and the fighters by pointing out that Marquez which is in this promotion, beat the Pacquiao that you guys currently have on a high pedestal.

......it obviously is adding to the promotion because the media currently is embracing Pacquiao.

.....and obviously, the current promotion is positioning itself to gain bargaining power regardless of whether Marquez or Mayweather come out on top.

To be fair though, the press probably kept on asking about Pac. Which of course, just goes to show that Pac is the biggest name in boxing right now.

Ok so they are going to say that regardless (especially DLH) but in this case they are all correct in my opinion, JMM beat Pac both times

and even though i dont like PBF he is clearly more skilled than Pac

True, but in all honesty I'm not that optimistic about the PPV buys for this.

Of course youd want to praise someone who has defeated you and at the same time proclaim that you really won the fight so that you would look good. If you were beaten in a tennis match in the semifinals, youd surely root for the person who beat you to win the finals so that you'll look better.

The reason why pac team doesnt give jmm as much props is because they are pissed off at jmm for his endless crybabying. Anybody would be pissed if you clearly won the fight but your opponent just keeps on disrespecting your victory.

I don't know, guys. But when someone mentions Marquez, I think about Pacquiao. And when someone mentions Pacquiao, I think about .... uhhh... that's it.

Pac has been fighting and moving on. He's his own guy. If the JMM-side of fans could just let Marquez move on too, then maybe history would look at his whole accomplishments instead of that "shoulda-been" win for the pac-fight.

Morales and Barerra are legendary even without a mention of Pac. Marquez belongs to that legend as well. In summary, JMM's other accomplishments needs to be highlighted.
