This happens allot in boxing and in the music buis....record lables have bought hundreds of thousands of albums to help first week sales....but anyway guess what...Floyd still got paid more than Pac got paid against Shane and Is getting paid for Marques comBINED...Pac pays his team percenteges so when he gets millions, they get millions...Floyd keeps 100% of the revenue and pays his team a set fee of 20grand a week...Floyd even gets paid for the food and soda being sold in the MGM on fight night...plus the endorsements, it all equals from about 24mill, to about 40-50mill...Pac is a broke bum abuser

    pacquiao just bought a 8 M $ mansion.

MANILA, Philippines – Filipino boxing superstar and Sarangani congressman Manny Pacquiao has reportedly purchased a luxurious house worth P388 million in Makati City’s Forbes Park.

Pacquiao will be moving into the house, located on Cambridge Street, North Forbes, as soon as the renovation gets done.

The property is estimated to be about 1,500 square meters, and is said to have its own tennis court.

"It's true, but the cost is confidential," Pacquiao's business manager Eric Pineda said in an article by the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

A separate report by Spot.ph said the property used to be owned by Roque Tordesillas, Senior Vice President of insurance brokerage firm Marsh Philippines.

Pacquiao had reportedly been eyeing the property for quite sometime, and planned on buying it as soon as he got his purse money from the May 7 fight with "Sugar" Shane Mosley.

LAS VEGAS -- Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. is being sued by a bank in Las Vegas for more than $167,000 unpaid on a loan for a half-million-dollar luxury car.

Caleb Langsdale, a lawyer for JP Morgan Chase Bank, said in a lawsuit filed last week in Clark County District Court that the former five-division boxing champion bought the Mercedes Maybach 57S in February 2007 and stopped making monthly payments of more than $9,000 a year later.

Boxer and Dancing with the Stars alum Floyd Mayweather failed to pay $62,000 in rent for commercial space that houses his promotion company, his landlord claims in Clark County Court. It's the latest in a string of lawsuits against the boxer.

TDF Investments says Mayweather signed a lease in July 2008 for Mayweather Promotions at nearly $10,800 per month for three years.

But TDF says Mayweather owes for unpaid rent, and the landlord had Mayweather evicted in July of this year.
