Floyd may not sign because...

ESPN just said they are giving him till tommorow as a deadline to sign the contract.

 

If he was gonna sign he would have already. He's gonna take his time off and push it til next year... or act like he's doing that to avoid the fight for another year to see if Manny Suddenly gets old.

Might be Arum's fault for opening his mouth about other fights too..

Its not arums fault... they already agreed to the terms. Floyd is just being difficult as usual! I guess he doesnt want any of that manny action, I dont blame him! :good PS: I wouldnt want to fight that animal either!!

 

For the record, I thought it was stated earlier in the process that negotiations through the media wouldn't be done for fear of compromising the fight. If that's the case does it not seem as though putting a "deadline" on a fighter through the media, while proclaiming that your fighter had agreed to terms, could compromise the fight? Why would Arum do these things? Honest to God, I can't believe how much Arum has been in the media after saying this wouldn't be done via the media, unless there he legitimately is trying to compromise the fight. If you want to impose a deadline, do so, but why put it in the media, if Pac has agreed to terms, fine...but why put it out in the media?

If the negotiations fall through and the fighters move on, then put out whatever you want in the media, explain your side, demonstrate it "wasn't you" who messed it up. This constant interaction with the media regarding the fight and the negotiations is questionable, what the **** are your intentions?
