Stylistically, this one is unwinnable for Floyd. Hearns by KO around 4th-8th rounds.

I have no problem with somebody saying Hearns would win, but seriously, KO in the 1st?

    Lay off the pipe.

As someone who over 1500 posts, you more than ANYONE knows that this thread has been put up 500 times...

And we KNOW you don't like Floyd, neither do I but no need for the stupid posts. we ALL KNOW Tommy Hearns is possibly the hardest hitting welter and nightmare for ANYONE at that weight (SRR included)

ESB used to be the ****, now it's DUMB thread after DUMB thread:-(

Floyd would avoid fighting Hearns even in a hypothetical sense

No fight is unwinnable in Boxing, and especially when it involves a fighter of Floyd Mayweather's skill level.

People are quick to dismiss a Floyd victory here, but I'm going to go against the grain. Floyd has enough pop when he lets his hands go to hurt Hearns and offset his handspeed with his own handspeed. Hearns would in all probability get the best of the Boxing match, but that isn't to say Floyd would get hit to often because he is far to defensive minded to let that happen. I would say later down the stretch, Floyd throws more counter right hands and lands a few, perhaps even hurting the sometimes vunerable chin of Hearns and gets himself a late TKO.

This isn't the likely scenerio, but I see no reason considering both fighters strengths and weakness why this couldn't happen.
