He soundly defeated all of his contemporaries, nothing more to prove for that man.

Cesar Cuenca is making a run at Floyd's record. Floyd might beat him, but Cuenca will get there soon enough.

Yawnnnnnnnnnnn!!! No one remembers the records of a fighter when he is gone, more the great fights he has been in, sadly Mayweather never had one!!

Brook, Thurman, Bradley, Garcia, Crawford would all be better for his last fight but he has nothing left to prove

And Floyd is a cherry picker unlike the great Leonard, the Great De La Hoya, the great Duran, the great Ali...

In terms of skill, Floyd is cut out of the same cloth as a the above mentioned, in terms of heart and *****, he is a level or two below...

even if it gets to 60-0 when there is not much classic fight to talk and review, it will just be a record and not great. there's plenty of better opposition during a lot of those fights and it will be known that he avoided the greater risks and he just out boxed a lot of them by just scoring points like the amateurs. he doesn't want to get hurt in the hurt business hence he became a defensive genius.

    89-0 > 48-0

    Deal with it.
