We had a thread about Ali here shortly after I signed up that started out with a distinctly (though not abusively or profanely) negative tone and which ended up becoming a really productive, interesting, nuanced discussion about Ali across several pages due to the thoughtful and knowledgeable contributions of several members. I'm a big fan of Ali, but I found no reason to be affronted by the thread. The Prof nixed it, anyway, after it had been running somewhere between 24 and 48 hours. 'Ahh, time to log in to my favorite BF24 after a day of teaching impressionable students all about the system of whiteness. What's this here? Grr, OP says Ali was a bad person, can't have that, to hell with the quality of the discussion that might have ensued, in the trash you go.' I don't like to single other posters out for harsh criticism, but seriously, eff that guy. He's a mental weakling.

 

Dude, it's the South, what do people expect? Outside of Florida, all the States down there are like gun ranges. You see people running amok shooting at property, people with regularity.

I've been to Alabama like 6-8 years ago, and you wouldn't believe how many crazy people I saw. It's a hive of nuts down there in the South.

Spent a little over a week in the Carolina's/Virginia last summer. Had an absolute blast.. Had a lot of fun at ranges too

 

I would rather go to any of those places than some of the places in the South (Well most of em). Trust me.
