And he isn't even unbeaten at pros...
Some cherrypicks still reveals to be too tough (ask nose-buster Cotto, yes that fighter that lost to Margarito)

And then they wonder why he's ducking Khan.

True and its a good point amateur boxing was popular with the casual boxing fans in the USA when they were producing top class amatuers and winning medals eg Pernell Whittaker ,FMJ, Oscar De La Hoya, SRL,Howard Davis, Michael and Leon Spinks, Meldrick Taylor,Mark Breland,Roy Jones. And it obviously was popular back then because as you said Oscar SRL,Roy Jones were all popular just when they turned pro and had a large fan base. Just because the US isn't having much success in amateur boxing now doesn't make it irrelevant

record keeping was shaky back then....supposedly he lost twice as an amateur.
but 85-0 with 69 knock outs looks much better. 40 KOs in the first round.....still a sick record

    Next up:
"People say Ali is one of the greatest boxers all the time, you hear it all the time but did you know that Ali compiled 5 losses in the amatuers? are those losses legit? I'm asking because I'm a ****ing dumb ass who doesnt know **** about boxing"

You also have the European championship and WSB. In other parts of the world amateur boxing is followed more than where ever your from. Yes but have you noticed that about 60 percent of all thread on here either concern Pacman of PBF? While I enjoy both watching both of those fighters my interest in boxing is not concentrated on the top few fighters that the crowd cant stop talking about, it gets boring after a while, . AIBA are trying to grow amateur boxing and with the WSB and APB boxing , I don't think you can discount amateur boxing as being irrelevant to the pro game

not a great amateur record for a boxer that claims he is the greatest to ever lace them up.
