Floyd Mayweather often gets stick for fighting at catchweights the recent example of the Alvarez coming down 2 pounds to 152lb.

When it come to fight night Floyd is usually the same weight as when he weighed in whereas his opponent will usually put on at least 10lb between the weigh in and the fight.

So my question is surely Floyd is the one is the one at a disadvantage as he fights at his natural weights whereas his opponent fight at a weight or two below there natural weight.

    Agree or disagree?

Is that not the 1st catch weight of his career? Maybe I'm wrong?

Point is he never needed the catchweight in the 1st place, it just gives people excuses to say canelo was drained etc, mayweather would have schooled him at 154 anyway!

The weight wasn't an issue for Canelo, anyone who thinks it was after the fight is deluded and clutching at straws.

He weighed in at 153 off his own accord against Trout, in a fight he could have came in at 154. He only had to lose 1 extra pound for Floyd.

To me he didn't look weakened in any way or form.
