No it is relevant. You and Marnoff are here acting like half the world changed their minds about Baldomir just because Floyd beat him. Trying to give floyd more credit. No most people thought he was nothing special.

I guess the cycle will stop here, you have nowhere to go after saying Marg is a carbon copy of Baldomir, can't really say Baldo was something special when Marg isn't. Can't have it both ways.

He deserved it and people wanted the fight because Baldomir deserved it as a champion. That is all fine and dandy. I don't give Floyd **** for taking that fight. However, the whole "oh people were saying this about Baldo before Floyd fought him, then Floyd beat him and..."

No, just no, 2-3 guys, included Baldo's mother and father were. Everyone else didn't really say that.

It was better. Baldomir was a legitimate lineal WW champion regardless of his style. Mayweather beat both Baldo and the previous belt holder. So the Baldomir fight was legit and made perfect sense.

There was no need for Mayweather to fight Margarito you moron because after the Baldomir fight Mayweather fought ODLH. You know what Margarito did? Got beaten. Then came Hatton.

The only reason to mention Margarito's stylistic similarities to Baldomir is to to put fear as a motive of not fighting Margarito is foolish. If Margarito would have been in the right position and maintained it? He would have been beaten too. Much like Baldomir was.

 

That's impossible. This thread hit rock bottom a long time ago when you were hilariously attempting to big up Floyd's win over Baldomir as something really meaningful. Can't top that... oh wait Bald Slick Head did with the whole carbon copy thing. atsch

 

Rockgloves challenged Floyd for years. Of COURSE he did. So did many, MANY other fighters. Guess why? It has something to do with making mortgage payments, supporting a family, and putting food on the table. That doesn't make them credible. Rockgloves was always "there", but at no point did he ever do something or put on a string of wins to force Floyd into a position to fight him. He always managed to find a way to lose when he needed a win.

Take a look at the video before you make another post. Kenny was putting Floyd on the spot for something that had many in the sport outraged. Baldomir was the guy people wanted Floyd to fight at the time. Until he did. Then they changed their minds.
