Actually I'm quite content. I had the pleasure to watch a genius in the ring for the better part of 10 years.:D

    I totally AGREE!

He's doing what Micheal Jordan did. He will UNRETIRE and his last purse will be doubled!!!! WHAT A GREAT BUSINESSMAN he is!!!!

Anyway, if he stays retired it's his PREROGATIVE. But one's thing for sure. PBF Fans and haters know it's a BAD timing coz he needs another fight with the likes of Cotto to PROVE he's really the #1 P4P!

On the other hand, like what one of the ESB members said. Who the hell needs LEGACY if you already have 40million $$$

What is this, the fifth or sixth time now?

As long as bank notes are printed, Mayweather will continue fighting.

    (Until he loses, of course.)

Does anyone really think Floyd, who has given every impression of being highly motivated by money, will sleep soundly knowing that he can easily double his "40million" by simply taking 2 more fights(DLH & Hatton):huh

them saying that is pure bs, u and I know It. I just dont want him 2 sell himself short, he has a chance to b ranked rather high on the ATG list, if he beats the winner of Cotto vs Margarito, or even both. Hes 31, he has 2 more fights in him. If he retired after beating them, his legacy would b cemented even further, and he would b paid out the ass. Im just mad b/ it makes me look bad, I have been defending him 4ever, Marketing etc. if he quits now, it makes him look like he really did duck Margarito and Cotto

It doesn't make him look like he ducked anyone. PBF wasn't under any contract to fight Cotto or Margo he never pulled out. He has been a ring top 10 P4P fighter for almost 10 years. If people can't see that he got there through his skills in the ring and being the best then there's no need in arguing with them. PBF went out on top on his terms nobody eleses. There's nothing better than doing that, leave them wanting more, like Sanders and Lewis for example. Most people stick around too long like Toney or Jones only to look like a shell of their former self, who needs that? Now you have people discrediting Jones saying he always had a glass jaw and Toney is a cheating roid user. He also has a lot more interests now other than just boxing for example, the whole dancing with stars, the iron ring on BET, he's young healthy and rich so why not pursue them.

No one with common sense thinks he's really retired.

trust man, you kno im a floyd fan. and i could see if he was in his twilight. Why not beat Cotto and leave no doubt and then retire, the money is gonna b there. I think he is cheating himself. hes 31, his skills are still there. Just woop cotto or margo to settle it once and for all. Then retire, he does that he would truely have nothing 2 prove. he bows out now people will say floyd had a great career, BUT, im sure many fighters would like to remove that little BUT part from their resume, and floyd has a chance to do it right now. Just woop cotto and there will b no BUT with him. He could retire truely with nothing to prove. The Welterweight division has 3 champions at the moment. Why not bow out as the UNDISPUTED WELTERWEIGHT CHAMP. And no1 can say **** 2 u after that. Im just sayin man, he is an ATG no doubt, but he can b ranked ultra high on that list if he bows out undisputed welterweight champ. The money would b there. he would retire at like 33 or something like that. Healthy and rich as a *****. i just dont want him 2 sell himself short.
